3/12/38 EC's letter to [
997]:
Dear Mrs. [
997]:
Have yours of the 8th and not [note?] what you say about what
the Dr. says about your condition - have read over the
information and think it indicates that you have the
disturbance in the Gallduct area, just as you have said the
Dr. says - now the Dr. may be right about the stones being so
large as not able to pass - if so will need an operation to
be sure - but have had the experiences of several cases where
there were very large stone as shown by X-ray yet with the
treatments these have been eliminated - so it will be just a
matter of your own choice - as for the Osteopath would
suggest Mrs. [
997], that you see Dr. Frank Dobbins, 551 5th
Ave., N.Y. City. Show him the information - and let him
suggest to you who is in your vicinity, then you will be
assured of having the best.
However as you are going away, might be well when you return,
before you take any treatments to let us check upon the
condition, and see what would be suggested at that time.
Certainly know how to appreciate such a condition as have had
the same my own self, (of course am knocking on wood) but
haven't had an operation as yet and have had several very
severe attacks. Believe the osteopath can relieve you - know
they have relieved me.
Certainly hope you have a lovely trip and no bad effects from
same, and can soon get started on the treatments and get just
as good results as so many have seen in same condition - out
of possibly 50 or more similar cases have had suggested two
operations.
Thanking you with all good wishes
Sincerely,
