This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 31st day of December, 1935, in accordance with request made by the self - through Active Research Membership of his son, Mr. [877], in the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. EC: Yes.
2. As we find, the conditions for this body are rather such that there are days when the body apparently is better; yet others when there is as much distress throughout the physical forces as there has been indicated - or more.
3. The manipulations, as we find, should be such as to set up more of the DRAINAGES from the upper portion of the body and increase the eliminations through the alimentary canal, coordinating the lumbar and the lower extremities WITH the manipulations and adjustments through the ileum plexus and the coccyx plexus. And we would find conditions would improve the more.
4. We would do that.
5. Set up, then, more drainages to the alimentary canal. If necessary, use the high enemas or colonics for the alleviating of the gas and those formations from same in the alimentary canal.
6. Thus, as we find, we would bring the better conditions for the body.
7. COORDINATE the lumbar plexus with the 9th dorsal plexus, but extend same to the feet, lower limbs and the bursae of the feet; for taking the pressures off of same will aid.

9. (Q) Has he improved any? If so, in what way?
   (A) As indicated. There are periods when he's better; there are others when he doesn't feel so good.
10. (Q) What treatments should be continued, other than the manipulations?
    (A) Do the manipulations PROPERLY, as indicated here, and - as we find - there should be more ready response!
11. (Q) Should any treatment be added?
    (A) As INDICATED!
    Just to give the body a manipulation or an adjustment is NOT a treatment, for these conditions! Follow rather those suggestions as indicated in setting up drainages and in alleviating those pressures by the use of salines and an intestinal antiseptic in the colonics. And let the BODY-responses build the resistances! Rather than adding sedatives for the easing of pain or the causing of rest, those things as indicated in the use of these are the better conditions for this body.
