2/22/28 Mrs. [
1100]'s letter: "We rec'd both the readings
for Mrs. [
1010] and want to tell you how happy we were to get
them. She is getting along fine, and says that she knows she
wouldn't be here, now, if it hadn't been for your readings.
"I knew nothing about neuropathical massages but as she did,
I followed her advice and have given her 3 every day since
she was taken sick. She came very near passing into a state
of coma several times but fortunately did not. She sits up a
little each day now and think she will be able to stay up in
another week.
"We were sorry to have to call you and disturb your little
vacation but as she was so very sick and we didn't know what
to do, something had to be done. Certainly would never have
known about the treatment suggested in the reading.
"I still want to get a reading whenever you can get around to
it, Mr. Cayce, but take all the sick folks first. The
trouble I was having disappeared when I started taking care
of Mrs. [
1010], proving that when we are trying to help
others we forget our own troubles.
"Again thanking you, in behalf of Mr. [
1112], Mrs. [
1010] and
myself, I am sincerely," [

3/10/28 [
1010]'s ltr. to EC:
Dear Mr. Cayce:
I am a great deal better but far from well. Elimination from
liver is not right, as have pains thru liver at times and
stools are almost white. Pains in legs, especially the left
one, and black spots the size of hickory nuts appear on left
leg from the knee down to ankle and pain me pretty much.
Am following out your instructions to the letter. Am able to
sit up only a short time. Sleep well, but sweat most all the
time, except when I have a temperature.
Do you think I should have another reading? If so, please
send it as soon as possible.
