This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 19th day of January, 1943, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [1010], Associate Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

TEXT

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with further suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1010].
3. As we find, conditions are not so good; yet if there are the precautions that have been indicated, there may be the keeping of a balance through the body.
4. The tendency for the blood pressure to cause the headaches, the gall duct disturbance, all of these are tending towards accumulations and segregations in the body-forces - these, in the forming of lymph pockets, are the sources of the disturbances.
5. The necessary precautions for the balancing of the pressure, through the use of the vital forces of body itself, are good - if they are kept. It would be well if the body would take same once or twice a day, not too long a period. Do keep the anodes or plates clean. Do polish them a bit more, for the vibrations of the body are such that it tends to form a film on same.
6. When necessary, under the direction of the physician, take those sedatives that quiet or give the body rest.
7. But the body needs to be less active, and to rest more.

9. (Q) Does honey or tea cause high blood pressure?
   (A) Honey does not cause high blood pressure. Tea, with other combinations, does. These as we find may be moderately taken, not too strong a tea, nor too much of the honey; but these as we find in combinations - as just indicated - do cause high blood pressure. Be mindful as to the other combinations made with same.
10. (Q) Dr. Bragg gives me "nembutal" to make me sleep. Does it harm me?
    (A) As just indicated, this is better to have the rest - but do take more rest.
11. (Q) He says it is hardening of arteries of heart instead of clot; is it true?
    (A) As we find, it is more the accumulations that causes spells, see? and these are as lymph pockets.
12. (Q) What causes sound in left side of chest almost constantly at night?
    (A) The manner or way in which there is the flow of the blood from lungs to heart and to liver. These, of course, are hindrances, - and is why the vibrations, or the Radio-Active, should be helpful, see?
13. (Q) After taking three rounds of four of Radio-Active Appliance (two days between) it made me nervous and jerky. How often should I take them?
    (A) If taken for a few minutes twice a day, it is not too much! provided the body rests before and after taking same. But take for only a few minutes at the time, see? But do keep the plates clean. Don't mix the anodes to the upper and lower portions of body; keep them in their regular circular motions.
14. (Q) Is the Radio-active Appliance I have alright?
    (A) If it is kept as has just been given - if it is kept in order! Have the connections in order, but do keep the anodes clean.
15. (Q) Any other suggestions?
    (A) Keep quiet as much as practical.

   Dear Hugh Lynn
   Just read the write up on "There Is A River". Hugh Lynn am so glad to see it [in] our magazine supplement. We both have been laid up with flu. Am still unable to sit up only a little while at a time, flu in my ears, not only very painful but am almost tone deaf.
   If I only could get well enough to go to B'gham and talk to different Clubs, could get them interested. Have written several friends for home addresses of the ones am SURE would be interested in getting your Dad's life-Readings and book before the public. Many thanks for N.P. Clippings. I feel so helpless after a life so FULL of ACTIVITIES. It is a great punishment indeed. MY HEART is BETTER. The forced confinement in bed with flu, gave me the REST the readings suggested. We just can't get help, but with [1112]'s help manage to cook, but am constantly losing weight. From Nov. 22 - 159 lbs. and now 122. Am trying to eat more. Dr. Bragg say[s] I can't live, unless I gain in weight as it takes strength from heart, which is a muscle.
   Am enclosing a list of different clubs and churches. I believe a letter would reach Dr. Trevor Mordecai, Mrs. Bridges (Eleanor or Mrs. Geo. Bridges). Have sent card addressed to you with their names on, for to be filled in by their home addresses, to another friend. Really for the last four mos. my senses, do not function as they used to do. If I could only sleep with out an SEDATIVE. The Radio A. Appliance has reduced the B.P. HAS HELPED A LOT. Dr. says must not lower B.P. too much.
   Hugh Lynn, I WILL help as soon as I can travel, thot would stay in B'gham for a few days, and make arrangements to give a short talk before several Clubs. If I can't be of service to humanity, I WANT to PASS ON. Of course am keeping our home together. And what would [1112] do with out me. No people on other side within several hundred miles. I always Call on the Great Jehovah - to Bless E. Cayce, his family, and your Son. And the Work YOU ALL are doing. This a RAMBLING business & Personal letter in rather shaky scratching. Remember YOU ALL are very dear to Mother [1010] as well as to the World.
2. 7/28/43 "My heart acted up last night, pulse 100 and over, skipped about every 15-20 beats. Will Radio Active Appliance help? Haven't used it for several months. Better this A.M., but cannot be on feet. So hard to lie down so much. Thought my time had come for a while last night. Did not take anything. Had spinal manipulation to expel gas. Thank you."
3. 9/04/43 Husband Mr. [1112] wired: "Give reading by wire Mrs. [1010]. Very urgent."
4. 9/11/43 EC wrote he was so sorry he had not been able to get the reading: "Please let us know how she is, if she is still alive, and if possible, you know that we will want to be of a help."
5. 9/14/43 Letter: "Am some better, have to lie down most of time. Dr. says heart is better but the thrombosis between heart & lungs is worse. They never have found the clot between liver and heart - as you did - also ulcer in liver, it hurts a lot lately. Of course, you are the only one in this world that can tell me if clots are worse, and what to do about it - Drs. say anyone else but me would have died months ago - they give me no medicine, but Nembutal, a sleeping powder. I always feel rested but the after effects I feel are not good. I take only about one a week, fight it off as long as possible, go several nights with only a few hrs. of sleep, toss & jerk all night - I am a vegetarian, no flesh of any kind. I keep up the irrigations, plethora seems better, also gall bladder is so much better."
   Are clots worse?
