TEXT

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.
3. As we find, in the present, from strains, anxieties, poisons in the system, there is a general congestion throughout the system; affecting heart, liver and kidneys.
4. These cause lack of proper eliminations in any of these, working a hardship, causing undue activity on the part of the heart and a very slow circulation through the extremities, coldness in kidneys and some inflammation through the lobes or the circulation of the liver.
5. Unless ALL of this is done, don't do any of it!
6. [1/28/83 GD's note: Today Ingram Pharmacy, Va. Beach, Va., filled this prescription [1013-6] for an A.R.E. member and mailed it to her.] Have prepared three capsules, each containing the following:

   Podophyllin........................1/4 grain,
Leptandrin...........................1 grain,
Sanguinaria..........................1 grain.

7. Mix these ingredients thoroughly.
8. Take one of these each day for three days.
9. And then take a good colonic irrigation; followed the next day - that is, the second day after the third dose has been taken, you see - with at least two heaping teaspoonsful of a good eliminant, - either Rochelle Salts or Sal Hepatica.
10. Keep quiet during the time these are being taken; and if you're not going to do all of these in the manner outlined, don't do any of them! For there WILL be a reaction from the poisons, owing to those other conditions which have existed, unless these poisons are eliminated and better conditions are established in the circulation between heart, liver and kidneys, and of course lungs.
11. Do these, though, and then gradually build up by RESTING; not running around or working, but resting at least five to six days.
12. During the period take mostly whole cereals and fruits, and fresh raw vegetables; a little meat after the third or fourth day may be added, but not great quantities of same.
13. Do that.
14. Ready for questions.
15. (Q) Have I taken sufficient of the green light treatments on back of my neck?
    (A) Do not worry about this now! Later there may be the necessity for taking these, but if taken in the present - unless some of this is eliminated - we will have a recurrent condition in the neck.
16. (Q) Do I have a touch of tropical fever?
    (A) You have a touch of most everything that you may well name, that has to do with overtaxing the system and causing congestion and poisons in the system! The tropical climate is partially responsible, but it is not tropical fever.
17. We are through for the present.

BACKGROUND

1. See 1013-4 on 10/27/41 and Life Rdg. 1013-5 on 1/03/42 advising her to stay in Canal Zone.
2. 3/20/42 She submitted questions, besides those which got asked, saying: "I was feeling badly when I left the Canal Zone, but after 3 days on the ship I began to get real sick and was affected like yellow jaundice. How can I get entirely well of it, if I have such, also the full gas feeling after eating; nausea after eating? Why am I nervous at night and unable to sleep? What diet? Would I get proper vitamins in Halibut liver oil and B-1 vitamins?"

REPORTS

1. 4/03/42 Phone request from [1013]: "...I feel better - not sick at stomach as much as I was, but still have a bad taste in my mouth. What I eat feels like it's right in my throat, and I'm very tired all the time..." Ques. submitted besides those which got asked: Did the medicine suggested in last reading [1013-5] have the desired results? Was it prepared properly? (Could never notice a real movement from it). What further must I do to clear up the yellow jaundice and get my liver to working well? How may I overcome the nervous spells, like smothering or sinking? Is the tired, listless feeling due to recent spell of illness? Any special diet? Should I have another colonic irrigation? (Have had two.)
2. 4/03/42 See 1013-7.
