(Q) Will the treatments as suggested bring real relief,
or is this condition permanent?
(A) As indicated, this condition has been a long time
building. The applications that we have indicated are for
the basis of a permanent relief, but it becomes necessary
that there be added - as through these applications - that
which will furnish the basis upon which permanent relief may
come.
As may be seen from that which has been given for the body as
to the conditions, there is the lack of the vitality to
create the RESISTANCES in the system.
But the activity of the low electrical vibrations from the
Wet Cell Appliance will be to recharge the body, as it were,
furnishing the vibrations which are as Life itself in
motivative active force in a material body. Then the
vibrations from the Gold solution carried into the system
through this manner will create an activity in the GLANDS
of the body, through supplying elements that revivify the
activity of the organs themselves - not only in the nerve
impulse but as to the vitality of the organs themselves.
Taken in this manner, then - that is, with the attachments,
for the stimulation from the cardiac activity of the heart
itself and to the reflexes to the system from its activity -
and for the assimilation forces of the system that carry the
revivifying forces, the effect will be very beneficial.
(Q) Would it be well for the body to remain in the hospital,
or could these treatments be given satisfactorily at home?
(A) These would be given satisfactorily at home with the
cooperation of an attendant or nurse, really better than in
the hospital. And, as we find, the improvements would be -
if this is plausible or possible - more effective.
(Q) What diet should the body follow?
(A) As indicated, that given recently to the body - that is
a body-building diet - is as effective as may be had in the
immediate.
After the sixteen to eighteen to twenty days of following
these applications as indicated, then the diet may be changed
owing to those conditions that will be gradually aroused to
activity in the system.
(Q) By following the suggestions outlined, what percent of
improvement may be expected - and over what period of time?
(A) As we find, in a few days there should be some INDICATED
response; say in five to six treatments. This does not mean
that the body would be able to get up and walk around that
soon, but there should be indicated the air of hopefulness,
of expectancy, that must first be established. For all
healing, as we have oft indicated, must come from the divine
forces from within - and the abilities for the individual in
using or applying the opportunities in its associations to
make for helpfulness and desire for activity within self.
By the end of the first week, or second week, we should
see a still greater change. And by the end of the entire
treatments (for the twenty days as here outlined) we should
see a DECIDED improvement.
As to the percent, we would say from thirty to fifty percent
change will be indicated.
Do these things, as we find, in the present. And we will
find helpfulness and hopefulness for THIS body, that hasn't
been experienced for some time.
We are through for the present.

Remedies Co. with specifications for the type appliance to
be used. Be sure to send this letter with your order, so no
delay will be experienced. Also notice the price list [which
was enclosed], and the article given to [...] (daughter) on
Electrical Appliances. The oils for the rub may be bought
separately and then added as given. If everything is not
clear, let us know. Also let us know when you have followed
the applications for the sixteen to twenty days, so we may
make an appointment for a Check Reading, in time to line up
the treatments that are to follow.)
REPORTS
GD's note: Her daughter later phoned saying they would start
on the treatment in a month or so, after plaster cast has
removed from Mrs. [
1018]'s back. HLC had talked with the
daughter and he indicated to me that the condition seemed to
be a long standing case of arthritis.
