EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1076], present in this room.
As we find, while there are very good physical conditions throughout the body, there are some specific disturbances that may be aided in the present. While the conditions are such that, unless there are some changes made, these must gradually grow more and more disturbing. But if the corrections are made, the disturbing factors may be stayed - and thus prevent further inroads or disturbances; and bring SOME aid in the conditions that at present exist.
These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1076] we are speaking of, present in this room:
IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, there is indicated that through subluxations and through a form of disturbance in the circulation there has been produced in the auditory forces of the body itself, and in the soft tissue of face, a catarrhal disturbance. Thus, with such subligations in the cerebrospinal system through which nutriment is supplied through the nerve and blood supply, the organs have been allowed to become disturbed in their normal refractory reaction.
The disorder in the organ itself is a portion of the disturbance. Hence local applications and local attention would be needed in cleansing, as it were, the drum, the organs or portions in the organs themselves that cause - by this catarrhal effect - the slowing of the circulation.
So, as changes are made, these will necessarily need to be cleansed.
Also there has been produced along the Eustachian tube a partial effect of the disturbance, so that portions of the face have been affected - or were in times back affected by a deep cold, so that there were those changes in the pressures in the nasal passages - and are now contributory causes.
Hence these would need those local applications or local attention that would aid.
But these all, as we find, may be cared for through those same specifics that are in the nature of the Finger Surgery; that is, the Osteopathic manipulations AND Finger Surgery as combined under the supervision of such an operator.
So, with the examinations made by such an one, these would be the applications:
First there would be the relief of the pressures in nasal passages, and some clearing then from the throat tissue - and those connecting coordinant forces with same. Also the auditory forces would be cleansed, and the circulation stimulated from the upper dorsal and through the cervical area, for the relief of these disturbances.
These, as we find, then, would bring the better conditions for this body.
As to the general conditions, throughout the rest of the system, although portions of the body are under stress or strain, the very activities of the body have in the main prevented other portions of the body from becoming involved. This is evidenced by the general activity of the body. So if these conditions are corrected, as we find, and then the general coordination that would be a portion of such a treatment, the others - as we find - would clear, as it were, of themselves.

(Q) Can anything be done for hearing?
(A) As has been indicated.
(Q) For the internal condition?
(A) As indicated, the natural drainages from the system becoming effective in portions, by a disturbed circulation, produce disturbed activities. But if there are those corrections made that coordinate all portions of the central nerve force that supply to the organs of digestion and the organs of assimilation, these would in themselves clear from a great deal of the disturbance.
(Q) What is causing the rheumatic pain in legs?
(A) The infection from the auditory forces and nasal passages, by refuse forces in the body itself - as indicated. For in setting up drainages and removing the pressures, as indicated, there will also be the removal of pressures through the lumbar and through the central portion of the bodily forces - or the solar plexus from the 9th dorsal center. Thus we will set drainages that will relieve these disturbing conditions.
(Q) For the headaches?
(A) These are from the same nerve pressure.
(Q) What specific centers in the cerebrospinal system should be given special attention?
(A) As indicated, in making the corrections in the head and the circulation there that disturbs the auditory forces or the hearing. There is the indication that the SUBLUXATION exists in the upper dorsal and the cervical centers. These become, then, the portions indicated for treatments - with the CLEANSING of the auditory forces and the nasal passages, as well as a breaking up of the adhesions in the palate itself. Then, in coordinating these, as indicated - the lumbar axis, the solar plexus axis or the solar plexus center that makes for the radiation of the better eliminations through the alimentary canal; as do the lumbar and the solar plexus make the better eliminations of the uric acid - or the cleansing of the kidneys, which makes for the tendency for the rheumatic or the arthritic conditions through the lower limbs. These would cleanse the system.
We would give, then, those suggestions - that such things be carried forward under the direction of an Osteopath skilled in Finger Surgery.
As to the period or the length of the applications, this would depend upon the manner in which the body responds. But, as indicated, these would not only decrease the disturbing conditions but make for an aid in restoring help and strength to the disturbed action of the system.
