This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 19th day of May, 1938, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [1082], Associate Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., appointment verification by Hugh Lynn Cayce in wire of 5/13/38.

Present: Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.

TEXT

1. EC: Yes.
2. Now as we find, as there was not the adherence to those suggestions that were indicated for this body heretofore, we would have the physician's suggestions carried out in detail - if there would be brought the better forces for this body.
3. It is not well that any interference be made, or any suggestions otherwise be given under the existent conditions; from the mental attitudes and the conditions; for the betterments may come through that which has been or may be indicated by the entity's physician.
4. We are through for the present.

BACKGROUND

1. See 1082-2 on 11/12/36.
2. 5/13/38 She wired: "Please give me reading immediately - wire appointment." [EC wired HLC to see her in N.Y. and find out what type of rdg. was desired and address for 19th A.M. He advised she wished a Ck. Physical.]

REPORTS

1. 5/23/38 Mrs. [1315]'s letter: "Mrs. [1082] was rather disturbed about her reading not telling her anything."
2. 5/30/38 EC's letter: "We feel as disturbed as she about not getting something for her, but when there has been one or two given and nothing done about it, the information has been just as it was for her. Do hope she gets along alright. It is not because we are not anxious about her, for would like if possible to be of real help, but where we can't, we can't. Would like to know how she comes along, and will be glad to try at any time for her."
