EC: We have the body, the enquiring mind, [
1097]. This
we have had before. Many changes in the mental, physical,
social and financial way, have come to this body since we
had same here before, and as the body's NUMBERS would
indicate, many changes are YET to come into the experience
of the body, in the business, social, and financial manner.
Changes of scenes will even be greater than they have in
the experience the body has had since last we had same
here. Applied in the correct way and manner, much may be
accomplished by the body, the entity, through the experiences
as come to same. While there may have come, and do come,
disappointments in the material sense; yet will the body
keep self in that same mental attitude that has so long
influenced the body in its relationships to others, in
that of being acting for others in so many varied respects,
advising, counseling, aiding others to understand their
relationships with their fellow man, the body will find
these will be returned TO self in no uncertain way and
manner, and there will come the peace and understanding
that comes only from service, and in the applying of self
and self's abilities to the strengthening of the purposes
of life in the individuals whom the entity contacts. There
will be, in the not too far distant future, opportunities
in DIFFERENT channels. In the State in which the body at
present labors, will recognize that service as has been
rendered to same through the efforts of the body, and OFFER
- through one of two channels - other propositions for the
body. There, too, will come, from a distance, the offer
of the position as comptroller, by an organization that
is worthy of being considered. As has been indicated to
the body, in larger fields of activity the body will find
the opportunities for the advancements in the material,
the financial, and in the business affairs. Ready for
questions.
(Q) What position, if any, will I be offered in the near
future? By whom?
(A) By the State, and by others in other lines of endeavors.
(Q) When will the offer be made?
(A) June, July, and September.
(Q) Should I resign my present position? and accept the
offer that will be made me from other sources?
(A) Not at present. Wait until all of these have been at
least broached in such a manner that the body may choose
between the three.
(Q) Will I give satisfaction and be successful in the new
line of work?
(A) As the body has labored, CONTINUE in that as has been
given, and satisfaction will result. [
1097] we are speaking
of.
(Q) Will myself and family enjoy good health and prosperity
should we locate in a large city?
(A) In the East, yes. IN the South or Southeast, no.
(Q) What city would be the most advisable?
(A) Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, or New York.
(Q) Will the Federal Farm Bureau at Washington offer me
an appointment as one of its Examiners for Texas?
(A) It will.
(Q) What other steps should I take in order to expedite an
appointment as an Examiner for the Federal Farm Bureau at
Washington?
(A) Only keep up those fences (as would be termed in common
parlance) that have been begun to be builded through those
channels through which such considerations are given
individuals who have rendered a service to the State.
That meaning, then, through the REPRESENTATIVES OF State,
in their VARIOUS offices.
(Q) What is the business forecast for my future?
(A) Very good.
(Q) What steps are most suitable for me to take in order
to come-back as a successful business man?
(A) The application of self's abilities toward that in hand,
and as the various conditions and advancements arise, apply
self in that manner as befitting that understanding the body
has respecting same; for in application of self, knowledge
and understanding and ABILITY shows forth; even as the light
that is set of a hill. While these may be darkened by varied
conditions as arise in the experiences of a body from period
to period, yet holding forth as steady - and as using the
knowledge aright, that is in hand, those of the elements that
give the knowledge of application are ACTIVE in action. In
staleness one finds the ability to USE that as is known in
any direction to become as a straw in the hand, and unfit,
unuseful, in the battle of life. Life is a battle, in that
each must put on the whole armor and be invulnerable to those
LITTLE things that do so hinder; and let not self nor
self-exultation become a STUMBLING block to thine
endeavors. We are through.
