1/29/37 Friday, [

Dear Mr. Cayce:
At last I have some good news for you - I haven't had any
temperature for four days, now, for which I am thankful,
indeed. I send up my thanks daily to Him, from whom all
blessings come and to you, Mr. Cayce, for so earnestly
striving to serve Him, by serving your fellow man. May His
blessings be with you, always!
After we tried to obtain Kellogg's Charcoal Tablets without
success, we got some of Requa's because they were plain
charcoal, and had started taking them, when your wire came.
The first day I took them, I noticed the temperature stayed
down, except when I stirred around. The second day, it
remained normal and has been so ever since. Have written to
Katz and Martin, however, because if Kellogg's are
preferable, I will take them, when they arrive.
If I continue to improve, and I feel that that I will, should
be able to get away in a week or ten days. Of course, I am
quite weak, yet, but seem to be growing stronger, slowly but
surely.
[
470] continues to improve but is quite busy on the job.
We are happy indeed, that your father is better and hope that
he, too, will continue to improve.
Will let you know later, just when I will arrive in Virginia
Beach. [
470] joins me in dearest love and best wishes to you
all -
Sincerely, [

1100]'s letter to EC:
Dear Mr. Cayce:-
The improvement continues, altho occasionally the temperature
tries to creep up a little, but feel sure that as soon as I
get some sunshine and warm air it will disappear entirely.
Am planning on leaving this week and have decided to go
straight to Florida. Would like so much to see you all, but
the trip there would cost so much more and as my illness has
been such a tremendous expense, I feel I should go right on
down. Know you will understand how I feel about it and too,
I do hope to come to convention, so feel I should not come
now.
Would like a check reading, tho, as soon as I get down there
so will wire you on my arrival.
Thanking you for all your kindnesses and with love to you all
