TEXT

GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1100]; this we have had before.
As we find, while there are some improvements since last we had same here, there is much that may be desired, owing to the distresses indicated through the digestive system and the acidity.
These arise partially from the variation in the pressure owing to the altitudes. This will gradually adjust itself, if there is not the overtaxing of the body.
In the present, we find there needs to be taken a dose of Milk of Bismuth, - a teaspoonful of the Milk of Bismuth and about ten drops of Elixir of Lactated Pepsin in a full glass of water, and drink another glass of water afterwards. This, of course, will act as an absorbant through the alimentary canal, and will require that there be a laxative - or a flushing of the colon, especially after this has been taken, - say the next day. For this purpose we would use the Eno Salts or Sal Hepatica, - the mineral salts will be preferable.
Then, after each meal take about a third of a teaspoonful of a digestant, or that as a purifier and to aid in sweetening the digestive tract. This may be in the form of either Bi-So-Dol or Alcaroid. For this body in the present we find that Bi-So-Dol should be the better, for this present time - unless it becomes necessary for greater eliminations to purify these.
Keep to the semi-liquid and the liquid diet until the system has been purified, at least; that is, the digestion, see?
Do that.
Occasionally have the good massage and give particular attention at this time to the 6th and 7th dorsal center.
Ready for questions.
(Q) Does this altitude have a tendency to lower one's resistance to colds, congestions, etc.?
(A) As indicated, this is a part - for it slows circulation, for this particular body.
(Q) I seem to be mentally and spiritually depressed. Please offer some helpful suggestions, along with physical suggestions.
(A) This as we find primarily arises from what may be called the condition of the digestive center, or the liver. But hold to that spiritual interpretation of the consciousness of self being at an at-onement with Creative Forces. These will bring the better physical as well as mental attitude in the reflections through the body.
Do not impose upon self the consciousness of being far away. For the presence of good, of God, is everywhere. And though one may be far from those one loves, the thoughts in Him may encompass one to a consciousness of being at one with them.
We are through for the present.

REPORTS

1/01/43 "My rdg. came on Tuesday and I thank you so much,... etc. It mentions having been wired, also, but I did not receive a copy of the wire. I had been doing some of the things mentioned but not exactly in the manner suggested. Am feeling some better but right now, with so much food in evidence, it has been difficult to stay on liquids and semi-liquids, altho I knew that was the thing to do. However, after today (we're invited out to dinner) I am going to follow suggestions religiously and to the letter, as this indigestion is very annoying...
"Am trying so hard to live up to your little spiritual message in my rdg., as I had actually been feeling that I was far away from all our loved ones. Thank you..."
