TEXT

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.
3. As we find, while conditions are good in many respects, there is still much that might be desired in the body building resistances, and for a better coordination of the assimilating system.
4. However, with the assimilating system made to coordinate with the blood supply, the nerve energy, and the activity of the liver as related to spleen, pancreas and kidneys, we would have a much nearer normal condition.
5. There are the needs for a stimulation to those areas from the lumbar axis to the brachial center, and - of course - the coordinating of the cervicals with same. This we would preferably have done mechanically, - that is, osteopathically. We would have these treatments about twice each week.
6. Then we would stimulate the whole of the cerebrospinal system with the violet ray; this also about twice each week, - not when the osteopathic treatments are given, but afterwards. If the time is taken, and not applied just to be gotten through with, this can be done as well at home as by the physician. Take at least ten to fifteen minutes for this treatment, and give it preferably on the evening following - or the next evening following - the osteopathic treatment.
7. As a tonic for the body, to assist in the better assimilation, we would add to the system the properties combined in this manner:
8. To 1 ounce Elixir Lactated Pepsin, add - IN THE ORDER NAMED:

A fusion of Wild Ginger............1 ounce,
(This to be done by a chemist, to be sure)
Tincture of Stillingia...........1/2 ounce.

The dosage would be a teaspoonful of morning before the meal, and a teaspoonful of evening when ready to retire.
9. Do these, - keeping a normal, balanced diet, and with better activities for the eliminations, - we will build the near to normal conditions for this body.
10. Do that.
11. Ready for questions.
12. (Q) Who would you recommend in Washington, D.C., to give the osteopathic treatments?
    (A) Waters.
13. (Q) What is the cause of the extreme discomfort in the lower back?
    (A) The lumbar axis, owing to those strains being produced by overactivity - or lifting; and the lack of resistances in the system.
Hence the needs for the adjustments and stimulations there, as indicated, for better coordination in the structural portions as related to the organs themselves of the body.
14. (Q) What causes the feeling of HEAT in the right hip?
    (A) We will find, with the examinations, that one limb is longer than the other; and this is the unbalanced condition in the axis.
15. (Q) What can be done, locally, for the condition of the rectum?
    (A) Use the combinations as found in TIM, which will aid in clearing the condition. But there are the needs also for the clearing throughout the alimentary canal, and the corrections. With the mechanical (osteopathic) adjustments made, as combined with the local application, we should find this disturbance entirely removed.
16. (Q) Any dietary suggestions which might help in putting on weight?
    (A) Have plenty of those foods carrying Vitamins A and B, with G. This would include, of course, all those that are yellow in their natural color, as well as all of the corn and oat products.
17. We are through with this Reading.

BACKGROUND

1. See 1102-4 on 2/15/39.

REPORTS

1. GD's note: Treatment of Spine with Violet Ray (Hand machine, Bulb Applicator:) Go down the center of the spine first, then on each side of the spinal column, first one side then the other. Then start in the center and go out on each side of the spine, first one side then the other, until you have gone over the whole area on both sides. Then go down each limb, following the sciatic nerve. Then end the treatment by going down the spine once more. This is with the body lying prone, face downward.
2. GD's note: Subsequent notations see under 1102-5, Life Rdg. Reports.
