TEXT

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1115].
2. As we find, there are disturbing conditions in the physical forces of the body. These, as we find, have to do with the MANNER in which eliminations HAVE been hindered in their activities through the system. Thus disorders have been caused that have varied somewhat from time to time in the manner they have affected the body.
3. Then, the reactions that HAVE arisen from these become contributory causes.
4. As we find, these conditions have been of a gradual development; owing to there being in the cerebrospinal system pressures that have hindered the body from having the proper circulation, due to these pressures causing the lack of impulse. Thus conditions are caused where poisons and toxic forces have involved the functioning of the organs. And then with eliminations in some portions hindered, these become acute at times. This is indicated in the manner in which the muscular forces in the extremities of the body are affected; the hands and the feet, the heaviness across the lower portion of the lumbar area; a tendency for shortness of breath when ascending steps or when there is any undue excitement or activity. At other periods there are head- aches that occur from a nausea that arises soon after - or ordinarily after - such headaches have made for a disturbing factor in the sensory forces. Thus the sensory forces have become involved, as indicated by the vision, the hearing, the taste; though these VARY according to their cycle of affectation from the disturbing conditions.
5. The subluxations and the lesions that form the pressures, as we find, arise from the lumbar and the lower dorsal center; though the incoordination there at times produces an acute condition between the shoulders and through the upper part of the esophagus center. At other periods there is a heaviness, or pains arise.
6. As to the activities of the general system, we find that all become involved - as indicated. But with the removal of these pressures, and the removal of the CAUSES primarily - rather than applications that make for only alleviating that produced by the cause - we would find a great deal of relief through ALL of those conditions that are indicated there.
7. First, then, we would BEGIN with these for the applications:
8. After one meal each day (preferably the evening meal), we would take the ALCAROID as a solvent for the digestive forces.
9. But be mindful that there are no meats taken; or very little. Fish or fowl in moderation may be taken. No fried foods of any kind, especially not fried potatoes or fried meats. Roasts are more preferable, when such are taken; but they should be used in moderation.
10. There should be at least ONE meal a day - EACH day - consisting ONLY of raw vegetables. There may be included lettuce, celery, cabbage, spinach, carrots, onions, radish, or those of like nature. An oil or a mayonnaise dressing may be used on such a salad.
11. Not too much of ANY stimulant, such as coffee or tea; though coffee may be taken in moderation WITHOUT the acid in same (that is, such as Kaffee-Hag or the like).
12. This diet should be followed rather consistently, until we have eliminated most of these conditions AT LEAST. And THEN it would be found to be more preferable than the heavier foods, or too much sweets, or too much starches taken at ANY time!
13. After the ALCAROID has been taken as indicated for two or three days, then take the CAROID AND BILE SALTS TABLETS for a day; that is, two AFTER the morning meal and two in the evening before retiring.
14. When these have acted, or when there has been sufficient activity to produce a reaction through the system, THEN begin with the osteopathic manipulations for making a correction in the areas that have been indicated; the lower dorsal and the lumbar and sacral area specific. These we would take in periods of three weeks, with three treatments a week, and then rest a period of a week, and then taken again for three weeks.
15. At the beginning of the second series of the osteopathic manipulations, begin with the use of the Radio-Active Appliance. The applications would be to the extremities of the body; that is, the right wrist, left ankle, etc.
16. And following EACH application of the Radio-Active Appliance (which would be attached each day for thirty minutes to an hour, as the body rests - or just before retiring), we would have a general massage with Olive Oil.
17. By the time of the second or third series, we should find a great improvement in the condition of the body.
18. Then we would give further instructions.
19. We are through with this reading.

(See letter [which was enclosed] with directions for OSTEOPATH, to be used when the time comes for these treatments.
The Radio-Active Appliance is the same as suggested in YOUR reading, Mr. [994]. So you both might use it, unless you are away from home a lot and need to take yours along with you - in that case you would need to order two.
If everything is not clear, let us know. When the treatments have been followed as indicated for the time specified, advise us so that we may make an appointment for a Check Reading. GD.)
