TEXT

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [1128].
2. As we find, the physical conditions in the present portend to very serious outcomes unless there is a dissipation of the causes of these tendencies for the accumulations; that form in the way of those that separate themselves into tumorous conditions.
3. However, that present condition which disturbs the body most, from the drawing in the side, arises more - as we find - from adherence or from the adhering of tissue; that, with these continued tendencies, must produce more and more irritation unless a dissipating measure is used.
4. The effects that these conditions have upon the physical forces of the body are experienced not only in the uneasiness that continues to present itself to the mental forces of the body-activity, but in the pathological effect also upon the organs of the system and the hindrances or strains that are produced on same by this constant nervous tension, as well as the drain upon the circulation through these lymph pocket formations.
5. As we find, then, in the ministry of those things that would be of the greater help:
6. First we would use the Wet Cell Appliance, carrying Spirits of Camphor one day and the regular strength Witchhazel solution the next day, through the low electrical vibrations. If the anode or lead lead that passes through the solution is CLEANSED each time after using, it may be used for both solutions. However, it would be preferable to prepare two anodes, one to carry the Camphor and the one to carry the Witchhazel - for these would be alternated as indicated. The applications to the body would be made in this manner:
7. The small copper anode would be attached first, to the 9th dorsal plexus - at the 9TH - between the 9th and 10th plexus. And the cup-shaped nickel anode (or this indenture or saucer-shaped anode) would be attached last, over the left side where there is the pain and the misery.
8. In the preparation of such an appliance, charge same higher than ordinarily used. Use two (2) pounds of the Copper Sulphate to the gallon and a half of distilled or rain water. Use an ounce of this Acid Solution, but use six (6) drams of the Common Zinc in charging same. Let the solution pass through the lead coil that is hollow, see?
9. And then make this application once each day, preferably in the evening before retiring, for thirty minutes - not longer in the beginning, else nausea will be produced.
10. Also we would administer osteopathic manipulations for general drainages to be set up in the system, particularly through the upper dorsal and cervical area. We find that HOLDING a pressure upon the lumbar plexus and the coccyx plexus for one minute at a time will be more helpful than a great deal of manipulative or exercise massage in the area. These treatments we would give twice each week - osteopathically.
11. Well that that the body have at least two to three hours of rest during a day, but that there be sufficient exercise for the activities of the system to be kept up.
12. Refrain from those things in the food values that are in the nature of sea foods, or in the nature of tuberous vegetables. Eat rather the leafy vegetables, meats, beans, lentils or the like; red cabbage if it agrees - and all vegetables should be cooked in their OWN juices and not with meats or mixed with other things. The meats should be of the nature such as lamb, fowl or the like; wild game - these, as we find, are preferable for the body.
13. Do these for the full period of a charge (of the Wet Cell Appliance), which should be thirty-one days.
14. Then we would give further instructions.
15. Ready for questions. [1128].
16. (Q) Was my operation last Spring for tumor successful?
    (A) Successful save as we have indicated, that there is the tendency through the lack of the activities for proper distribution though assimilated forces, or katabolism of the system, to prevent adherence or tissue becoming clotted. And unless this tendency is dissipated in a way as suggested (which we find would be preferable) we find that there may become greater disturbance, and a tendency later - if bruised - toward the malignant nature. This is not so much indicated in the present. It may best be found (such a tendency) by the appearance in the eyes, the condition in the mouth - or taste in the mouth, and nausea that occurs at times.
17. (Q) Why have I had severe headaches lately?
    (A) This tendency for the pressure to pull upon the nervous system, which should be reduced by the drainages being set up through the general massage and manipulative forces osteopathically, as indicated. Also the passing of the low electrical forces through affected portions will tend to not only make for healing but a separating in such a manner as to become more stabilized, or more strengthened in their individual activity.
Do these for the period given, for the best effects for this body.
18. We are through for the present.

BACKGROUND

1. 3/09/36 Miss [906]'s card: "She has been suffering for the last month with her side... Why distension in left upper side of abdomen, also considerable pain? Was my operation last Spring for tumor successful? Did they find it malignant? Why have I had severe headaches lately?"
