EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1134], present in this room.
Now, as we find, there are disturbing conditions that prevent the better physical functioning and the coordinating of the mental reactions in and with the physical forces of the body.
And we find, to understand and to make applications for corrective measures in these, it would be necessary that rather a review of the disturbing conditions be made or given.
Hence at present we find there are rather the results of long disturbing conditions that have not been considered in their proper ratio of activity one with another.
First, as we find, in times back there was that overstrain upon the reaction of the mental and physical forces of the body, when there were lacking in the system the elements sufficient in their supply to carry the impulse through the nervous system.
Hence we had a nervous breakdown, where there were severe pains through the head, the inability for sleep, the inactivity of the assimilating forces in the body to function with GLANDS of the system. Hence this breaking down of the coordination, with the inability of the body to concentrate mentally or to react physically to the ordinary means of making or producing this activity in the system.
Thus the main or the basic disturbance, as we find, is glandular; the adrenal glands as in coordination with the pineal and the reflex forces from same to the responses between sympathetic and cerebrospinal reactions.
For, as we have indicated, often there has been a misconstruction put upon the activity of the sympathetic or vegetative nerve system with the reflexes of the body.
Hence, as we find, as produced in this body here at present, [1134], there are the inabilities of the proper rest, the inability of the proper coordination through the system of the vegetative systems with the cerebrospinal system; especially as related to the reactions that occur in the attempts of the body to concentrate upon a given or direct activity, whether it be a response in the physical reactions or whether it be upon a mechanical or a mental reserve influence upon memory activities in the system.
Yet, as we find, if there are added those elements in the system in such a measure and manner in which there may be those elements or influences added to the system so that the BASIC conditions or disturbances in the glandular system are revived, there may yet be the resuscitating influences established such as to bring a near normal equilibrium in this body.
As we find, then, the elements that are reactory with the glandular system, and ESPECIALLY the nerve matter itself upon which impulses from the mental reaction as well as the physical forces of the system "play," as it were (upon the chords of the nerve force itself), need that stimuli such as to not only make for a resuscitating or a giving of life force but to make for the reactions of impulses to become as COORDINATIVE forces through the whole bodily force itself.
Hence we would begin with these, yet - as we will find - it will become necessary AS changes are wrought that some changes in the FORM of the vibratory forces that are to be added in the system be made, as developments progress. As there has been a breaking down of the glandular forces that have affected the nervous forces of the system, this must necessarily be in the beginning a SLOW process (apparently so). But if there is maintained consistency and persistency, and the activities physically and mentally such as to be coordinative and cooperative with that being builded in the system, the progress will be much speedier as the conditions in the system are corrected.
Begin, then, with the use of the low form of electrical vibration carrying the elements that are in their very nature reactory to the glandular forces of the body; that is, Gold - in a Chloride state, and Silver - in a Nitrate state. We refer to the Wet Cell Appliance, then, which would be used or applied for thirty minutes each day, just before the time for retiring; thirty minutes, not longer than this, though it may be found that this period will be necessarily reduced depending upon the physical activities, to be sure, and the diets of the body.
The Appliance would be made in this manner, SOMEWHAT different from the ordinary application. Use a copper and a nickel anode or pole, that goes into the solution. To the copper pole add or use the NICKEL plate, the small plate. The attachments would be made to the body in this manner; one day using the Gold solution, the next day the Silver solution:
The first day, attach first the small nickel plate (when using the Gold solution, you see) to the 4th dorsal plexus, or to that area lying between the 4th and 5th dorsals. Attach next the larger plate of COPPER (cup or saucer-shaped) to the umbilicus and lacteal duct center, or on the right side - a hand's breadth from the umbilicus center or navel; which would be the anode passing through the Gold solution (a strength of three grains Chloride of Gold to an ounce of distilled water - and use a solution of six to eight ounces). Six to eight ounces of the Gold solution should be sufficient to care for the whole treatment of the Gold solution, see? Use a hollow lead tube through the solution, and attach to the appliance of the low electrical vibration as has been given for its formation.
On the other days (or every other day), when the Silver solution is used, there would be the regular connections of the metals as ordinarily used; with the attachments as follows: The small copper plate would be attached first to the body, at the 1st and 2nd cervical - where there is the activity of the nerve forces that enter the base of the brain through the medulla oblongata. The larger nickel plate (saucer-shaped), through which the Silver solution is passing (Silver Nitrate - a ten percent solution - six ounces of this), would be attached last - to the plexus opposite that area to which the small plate is attached; that is, the 4th lumbar - or the lower portion of the plexus that works with the locomotions of the body and the lower portion of the ducts that leads from the lower PINEAL connection with the brush end of the cerebrospinal system and the glands in the kidney area that balance with the equilibriums of the body-FUNCTIONING through the coordination of assimilations, or the katabolism of the system.
The Appliance would be used each day as indicated, one day making the attachments as indicated with the Gold solution, the next day with the Silver solution.
After each of the treatments given with the low electrical vibration (that is, each evening), massage the body GENTLY with equal portions of Olive Oil and Tincture of Myrrh, from the base of the brain to the 9th dorsal, from the end of the spine or the coccyx area to the center or to the 9th dorsal area - just what the body absorbs. But let the massage be in a rotary motion sufficient that each of the ganglia along the cerebrospinal system receives an impulse from the vibrations of the properties used.
In the matter of the activity of the body:
There should be those tendencies for keeping in the open, but rather NEVER be ALONE. Talk to someone. Keep in company with others when in the open, and let the conversation be rather of a CONSTRUCTIVE nature but rarely about self.
In the diet - keep an alkalin reaction. One meal each day should consist of raw vegetables. Rarely use meats. Never any fried meats or fried foods of any nature. Vegetables, fruits, all characters of these are well. Cereals may be a portion of the diet for the morning meal or citrus fruit juices (but never combine the fruit juices AND cereal at the same meal). When taken, preferably let the cereal be wheat or a combination of wheat and oats.
These would follow for sixty days, or for two chargings of the Appliance.
Then we would give further instructions.

(Q) The Gold solution should be used one day and the Silver the next?
(A) As given, the Gold one day, the Silver the next. The attachments for the Gold solution are to the circulatory system, while those for the silver solution - as indicated - are to the nerves reactory with the creating of influences and forces to act in taking from BOTH solutions for GLAND secretions.
(Q) Would it be wise for me to go to some other part of the country?
(A) May be wise when the body physically is better capable of adapting itself to changes. For the present, let's PREPARE self for a normal activity.
Do these things; being consistent, persistent, and you will find yourself on the road to health and usefulness to others.
