6/02/36 Letter from [
1150] to EC:
"My dear Mr. Cayce: Before I sail for England on Friday
next, the 5th inst., I did want to thank you cordially for
your kind and encouraging letter of May 13th, with, of
course, my apologies for the long delay in doing so.
"Your visit here was something that will remain memorable to
us a mutual spiritual feast that must bear fruit at some
future date I feel certain.
"I have read and re-read the wonderful reading you gave me
and I do most certainly find it of constructive and practical
help, apart from its being most confirmatory of much that had
already been communicated to me by my beloved spirit
collaborator, [...] [Indian chief guide].
"We are returning to America early in July for me to fulfill
important engagements at Lily Dale Assembly and this work
will take me into August, but, after that, I should love to
visit Virginia Beach. Perhaps I can manage to get in touch
with you on my return and we can then fix things up. I shall
be doubtless visiting our mutual friends - Mr. & Mrs. [
1151]
- [
1158] at their holiday resort in August. We often talk
about your great work.
"Please accept our deepest gratitude for the enlightenment
you brought to us and rest assured that our prayers go with
this letter and with our constant thoughts - prayers that you
may long be spared on earth to minister to mankind's
spiritual needs in these dark days.
"Remember us kindly to your wife and 'Family'. God richly
bless you!"
Very sincerely yours, [
