5/12/43 Mother's letter: "I also hope you can give me hope
of a part-time reading for [
1206] concerning her next
winter's school. She is going to take up an art course in
N.Y. this summer, for several hours per week, and another
form of art course (8 wks. of summer school) at Sarah
Lawrence College, but she has no idea what she should do next
fall. The art course at Sarah Lawrence is not very good. If
she should prepare herself to teach Art, it might be well for
her to go to Pratt Institute, in Brooklyn, but they have no
dormitories or campus life for the girls... She wants to
prepare to earn her living at something, but just what she
should focus on she cannot determine. Her present head
mistress of ... School says she must make up her mind soon
and register, or she won't be able to get in anywhere.
[
1151] and I feel we would like her to have at least one year
of general college work and college life before starting in
to prepare herself as an art teacher. So I am hoping we can
before too long get some advice as to what her right start is
for next fall."
6/10/44 See
1208-16, a Ck. Physical Reading. Mother's
questions submitted
3/17/44 indicated that [
1206] had gone
away to college that winter. Miss [

health questions

6/06/49 Mother's letter: "I believe you know that our
daughter [
1206] is being married in ..., June 25th."
2/04/56 Brother [
1188]'s report: "[
1206] now has 3 children,
a girl, a boy and a girl."
GD's note: See Ck. Life reading of Mrs. [

children of the Roman-Palestine incarnation might come back
this time as their grandchildren.
6/18/57 Brother [

morning that [
