EC: Yes.
Now as we find, disturbing conditions in the physical forces of the body are rather of the complex nature; though the resistances have been very good and thus the body has been kept from "breaking down," as it were.
But those infectious forces that arise from the thinning of the blood - and those conditions in the throat, as combined WITH the lack of the metabolism through the activity in the thyroids, and the effect this produces upon the lower hepatic circulation - produce rather a NEW disturbance; and one that will require precautions by the body.
These produce in the blood stream (that is, the whole, or the combination - or there exists, rather) the inclination for the thinning, or the lack of that plasm in the blood which makes for the ability of the assimilating system to take on as much hydrocarbonate reaction as is necessary.
Hence the inclinations for chilly, cold sensations; and the effects upon the disturbance in the glandular force as related to the activity of the kidneys cause the trembly sensation.
And the conditions in the throat, the nasal passages, and the COMBINATION of this upon the digestive forces - already weakened in the assimilations, as indicated - cause a NEW source of infection.
Hence this will produce some anxiety unless there ARE those precautions for alleviating these disturbances by the use of those activities or principles that will tend to make for the destroying of the bacilli that may become so infectious or destructive to the assimilating system and the digestive organs, and the activity of the metabolism in the body.
Hence as we find in the present, first:
We would use alternately a spray of Atomidine and Glyco-Thymoline for the throat.
Use the Atomidine spray preferably of an evening before retiring. The proportions would be a teaspoonful of the Atomidine (commercial strength) to an ounce of Distilled Water (not tap water, but distilled water). Use as a nasal spray and as a throat spray. Use preferably in an atomizer of hard rubber, or be very careful that any METAL parts to the one used are thoroughly cleansed after each usage of same - or before it is used again STERILIZE SAME! and do not let the metal parts (is such is used) remain in that portion of the Atomidine Solution not used! But do not use a metal spray for the Atomidine spray solution, if at all practical.
The Glyco-Thymoline spray would be used of morning, when first arising. Use it commercial strength - that is, full strength - in another atomizer.
Then, increase the eliminations as related to the activity of the alimentary canal, in conjunction with those influences that will also work upon - or with - a stimulation to the activity of the glandular system in the digestive forces of the body.
Hence use a laxative the base of which is vegetable in nature; as from Senna or the Pie Plant, or the like. Such bases are preferable in the existent conditions.
Do not take as foods any quantity of fats, nor excess starches - as COMBINATIONS that make for starches that cause an excess of gas-forming through the irritated portions of the digestive forces of the body.
Use those foods then that are of the nature that are body-building, yet that are not hard of digestion or assimilation - these are the better.
Also the use of the high vibrations of electrical forces will be beneficial. However, there would be not too long periods of treatment with these, and never when there is the excess of alcoholic REACTING fluids in the system!
Hence refrain from any drinks that carry the alcohol content, and those for the lower hepatic circulation - Such drinks as carbonated waters of ginger, as Ginger Ale, Coca-Cola, will be those to be taken by the body.
Do these in a consistent manner and we will find reliefs for the body, and a building back to a much nearer normal condition.

(Q) Is there need for me to continue taking thyroid extract and if so in what dosage?
(A) If these preparations as indicated are followed, these will assist the body in diminishing the quantity of thyroid taken. But in the present this had best be taken in the proportions as has been indicated for the body; and in a week to two weeks GRADUALLY skip the dose of same - one day; and then after another week or ten days skip the second, see?
(Q) What was the cause of the recent slight hemorrhage from bronchial tubes or the wall of the throat?
(A) The thinning, or the lack of proper balance in the hormones of the blood itself; allowing same, with this congestion, to come THROUGH the walls of the throat. This was from the throat rather than bronchial tubes.
(Q) How much water should I drink daily?
(A) Six to eight glasses full, or more if the system requires same.
After there has been used the spray and the activities in the diet for ten days to two weeks, we find that the taking of about an ounce of Watermelon Seed Tea in two or three ounces of water - about once a week - will aid in clearing those conditions related to the activities of the lower hepatic circulation - the kidneys; or purify or clear same; and will aid in the assimilating forces from the activities of the pancrean reaction. Prepare same in this manner. Cut or crush about forty to fifty seed, and steep or brew in a pint of water as you would ordinary tea. Then put an ounce of the tea in two or three ounces of water and drink. Or, if kept in a cool place, the tea may be taken once or twice a day until the full quantity (the pint) is taken; and then left off for a month or six weeks before being taken again.
(Q) What suggestions in relation to exercise?
(A) The exercises should be consistent with the general activities of the system. Keep in the open as much with the exercise as practical.

Dear Teacher:
Just a note to tell you that there is a distinct pick-up in the Doctor's vitality...much better coordinated in his thinking as if relieved of toxins. I think it most important that the sprays were given, for he tells me that although the Atomidine spray was distinctly painful at first...it is no longer. It is quite evident that the reading did discover an unguessed spot of infection.
Oddly enough the laxative you ordered (with a pie plant base) is exactly what Anabolic Foods makes...[1058]'s firm. The Doctor had scoffed at it for nearly two years...but now admits it is a good product.
You will hear from him in detail I am sure. I merely send off this note of thanks and little report to you. I often think that when someone is ill, help means more to those near that someone than it does to the person involved.
My grateful thanks and much love to you all...
And I must add that your only fault is that you doubt yourself...and your powers. This is a rebuke to the wonderful Giver of Gifts who has given you such a large measure of talent. I am working daily to overcome a similar doubt...surely no work needs more of faith than writing. And thanks to you and to my new life I can look forward to tomorrow knowing that the words will come and that the paper will be filled...with clear messages. I used to tie myself in knots ahead of time.
P.S. I am certainly glad to hear you are better of your own illness. A break seems to hit you each winter. I only wish provision might be made for you and Mrs. Cayce to get to the far South and loll about on the sands for two weeks. I truly believe much illness of this winter type which hits us when we are tired would be prevented if we could get that pick-up from the mighty sun. To pause in the midst of work and to change our routine ENTIRELY for two weeks is highly beneficial. That is really what the illness forces us to do, isn't it? I begin to feel it is rather a soul urge for change and for silence and thought more than it is a physical drop. [954]

Happy to know there is action in the suggestions given for the Dr. Hope it proves to be just what is needed all the way through. It is interesting about the spray - we had a party here in Co, [Mr. [1455]] that there was silver nitrate given - vibratorially - and at first he could only take a 2 percent Solution, but told him he would be able to take up to ten percent. Now when he tried a stronger solution at first ate up connections - but now as his condition has improved he can take the ten - and same type of connections stand the solution. Interesting isn't it. And the poor fellow had been told at Baltimore there was little or no help. Funny they tried to give the same but had very bad reaction - until given vibratorially.
Fine - we do run into the funniest things, like that laxative.
The doubt my dear friend - is not in the giver of the help but myself - as a channel worthy of acceptation - lots of difference yes - no.
Yes guess I over do it in my anxiety - forget his lesson that he went away ever so often for rest - yes even sent the people away - and prayed all night alone.
