This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 24th day of October, 1936, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [1223], through Active Membership of Mrs. [578] in the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Present: Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mrs. [1223], her mother, husband and child [2648]; and Mrs. Franklin.

TEXT

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.
2. As we find, there are great improvements in the general physical forces of the body from that as we have had here before.
3. As to changes and to meeting those conditions that arise, in the immediate we would not alter or change a great deal.
4. There may be some periods of rest of longer duration, but we would continue with those suggestions that have been given.
5. For the corrective influence through the assimilating system and the distributing of the energies and the abilities for the energizing of the body is progressing now. And as we find should continue to keep in accord, if the correct proportions are kept to be sure of those activities as indicated.
6. Ready for questions.
7. (Q) Is it possible for me to have another child?
   (A) As we find, it would be possible.
8. (Q) Considering my physical condition, when would be the best time?
   (A) The beginning of conception should be before the beginning of the year.
9. (Q) What causes the pain on the lower left side of my spine, and how may this be corrected?
   (A) We would keep those suggestions that have been made for the corrections along the spine, and this should relieve those pressures and those tendencies for those segregations of tissue that have been involved through the lack of proper circulation. This is not as severe as it has been, though at times becomes disturbing. This is the system still attempting to adjust itself.
   Keep those things as suggested.
10. (Q) Should I stick to the same diet, or should any alterations be made now?
    (A) In the main, to the same diet; though to be sure there may be the addition of those things as more desired by the body, but keep them in accord with the balance of the acid and alkalin productions for the system; and we will find the resistances will be built much easier and faster, also that the activity of the glandular forces of the body and the secretions for the building up of resistances will be nearer to the normal way and manner.
11. (Q) Should the Wet Cell Appliance be continued? If so, in the same manner?
    (A) This has added to the activity of the glandular system, and as we find should be kept much in the same way and manner as has been already indicated. For this aids in building to the glandular system the reactions that produce a proper balance.
    Keep the anodes or plates very clean, just before the applying of same. These may be applied lower on the lumbar area and thus make for the activity through the generative or genitive system as will make for easing of this heaviness that occurs at the regular periods.
12. (Q) How often should the osteopathic treatments be taken now?
    (A) One a week, or one for two to three weeks and then skip two to three weeks, will be better than making close together, and for long periods, if the general treatments are given.
13. (Q) Any specific directions for treatments?
    (A) Only those to keep drainages through the upper portion of the system and relaxing those from the 9th dorsal downward. Those from the 9th dorsal upward, these should be for better eliminations - or as has been indicated, a general treatment.
14. (Q) Any further advice at this time that would be of help to the body?
    (A) As the body is on the improve, do not be indiscreet or overactive in those things that to self or to the resistances of the body would become knowingly detrimental, and we will find that as there is the constructive thinking, the constructive building in the physical forces of the body, nominalcy should recur in the physical body.
15. (Q) Should I still refrain from drinking beer?
    (A) More ESPECIALLY if there is to be that of conception.
