The influences in Venus we find make for the tenderhearted,
sympathetic expressions; yet oftentimes the attempt to put
this away and it becomes hard for the very expression of
self. Yet these things rather cultivated in their natural
expression of friendships, natural expressions of duties,
natural expressions of obligations, are well. Do not shun
them, for these make for the growing of the fruits of the
spirit that produce within the experience of every soul that
which is a growth before THY Maker. For as hath been given,
patience, longsuffering, brotherly love - these are as the
fruits of the spirit, and manifested in thine experience
produce in the activities of a soul, in the experience of an
individual, that which will bring peace, harmony,
understanding; and that that maketh not afraid. Those things
that are cultivated as from wrath, from anger, from those
that may be termed in the earth as of "a man's man," only
bring in their end that of misunderstanding, misconstruing of
purpose, and inharmony in the activity.
Those influences as we find from Uranus make for the
extremes, as may be indicated even from the Martian and Venus
influence.
Hence while these influences make for a tendency for study, a
tendency for the delving into those things that are of the
mysterious nature, those things that have to do with the
mysteries, the occult and such - these forces are well,
guided properly. Then those intuitive forces, as arise from
these, cultivated from the angle of being CONSTRUCTIVE may be
those very forces that may bring the greater blessings in the
experience of the entity.
These abused or turned into selfish influences for the
aggrandizement of self, may bring hardships, may bring even
destructive forces in the PHYSICAL as well as in the
abilities of the entity to accomplish that which will make
for soul growth. And THAT is the purpose of each soul's
experience, and not to conquer the world. For to conquer the
world in fame, in fortune, in position, in power, and to lose
one's own soul is as but naught.
As to the appearances in the earth, then, and those that make
for influences in the present, these are not all - but those
that in the present make those urges which arise from the
emotional forces of the entity:
Before this we find the entity was in the land of the present
nativity, during those experiences and those periods when
there were the early settlings in the land.
The entity then was among those that were of the captains of
the ships that plied between the lands of the present
nativity and the lands from which there came those powers for
the protection, those for the beginnings of those activities.
Then the entity joined in the latter portion of the
experience in the activities about what is now known as the
own native land, the own birth place; then in the name Lee
Williamson.
In the experience the entity gained, for in those activities
there were built up the preservations of the home, the
protective influences for study, for associations with other
peoples; ways, means, manners of conducting communicative
influences.
Hence we will find that the entity's activities in such
fields as may pertain to communications of every nature will
be an influence in the experience of the entity in the
present sojourn; whether by motor, rail, air, or wire. Any
or all of these become as a portion of the entity's
experiences in which these may become as an influence. For
the entity, as from those influences in that period, would
make a traffic passenger or communication manager for any of
those activities in such an experience.
Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as
the English, during those periods when there were what have
since been termed the Holy Wars; during those periods of the
Crusades when there were the gatherings of many for the
preservation of an idea to those peoples that had taken such
vows for the protection of a land for a condition.
These became as stumblingblocks in the experience, for as was
indicated then through those activities, though the entity
was a warrior, though the entity was fearless, though the
entity held to the idea of those activities (and losing self
in those undertakings), there came in the latter portions of
those experiences that understanding that it is "not in this
place, not in the mountain nor in the city nor in the temple
that's made with hands, but rather within the heart, within
the mind of man" that there comes the worshipfulness of a
Creative Force through which there may come those influences
to individuals that may bring the greater understanding of
the relationship of man with the Creative Forces in a
material world.
Hence we will find in the experience in the present those
tendencies for the neglecting of the spiritual life; yet
holding fast to the individual tenets that have appeared and
do appear from those experiences. But know that thy God, thy
Savior, has promised to meet thee within thine OWN temple.
Then turn within, if ye would know Him; for He is the rock of
thy salvation; in Him can that trust be - not of self but
through self's being a channel of blessing to thy fellow man.
For as ye mete to the least of thy brethren, as ye mete to
the least of those about thee, so doth thou in thine heart
treat or act or THINK about thy God! For as He gave, "As ye
do it unto the least of these, ye do it unto me."
This is as a warning, then; that these be not neglected in
thine activity among thy fellow man. For as the abilities
are to gain a position of power, to gain a position worthy of
acceptance, remember that thy LORD liveth in the humblest of
thy associates - and treat them as if He dwelt there!
The name then was Juan Rechella.
Before that we find the entity was in the Holy Land, during
those periods when there was what is called the period of
preparation, or those activities were in order not only from
the Roman but from the Jewish and the Grecian lands.
For the entity then was among those of the Roman soldiery
that were among the first to be as the supervisors over that
land previous to those days when there was the activity among
the Essenes for the coming of the Master.
The entity then was a soldier in authority, one to whom
reports were given for the abilities of this or that city,
this or that district for the gathering of taxes, for the
preparations for those influences that made for the abilities
for that land to pay tribute to the Roman forces.
Hence we will find in the experience of the entity those
inclinations towards a political rule. And this in the
latter portion of the experience in this sojourn may be
applied, if there are the purposes, the aims, the desires for
a helpfulness to the fellow man rather than for the
satisfying of a selfish purpose in self.
Then the name was Felix.
Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as
the Egyptian, during those periods when there were turmoils
and strifes through the activities of the King, through those
influences that were coming about by the rebellions.
And the entity was among those that assisted the Native who
made for the rebellious forces in that period.
The entity lost and the entity gained; the entity lost
through the self-indulgence, the self-aggrandizement. And
those activities as brought for the gaining during that
experience when there were those settlings by the activities
of the Atlanteans in the land, the entity aided in the
preparations of many of those forces that made for
conveniences in the home, that made for those activities that
preserved for the individuals and for the peoples much that
could be held as the storage for the grain, the activities of
the land, for a helpfulness to those of the land.
Then the name was Shu-Sheali.
As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, and
that to which it may attain and how:
First know thyself and that thou desirest to accomplish in
thy relationship with thy fellow man and thy relationship to
thy Creator. Know that impulse, the import, the purposes of
these MUST be one! And then in those activities in which
their actions may be brought about as to things, in
relationships to transportations of any nature or character;
and in the last acts in this experience dealings with thy
fellow man in political relationships will bring about an
activity of service that will be as was said of old, "Thou
good and faithful servant, enter into the joys of thy Lord."
Then, let thy ideal and thy purpose be not in the gratifying
of self but that thy life, thy body, thy mind, may be a
channel through which the GLORY of a RISEN Lord may be known
among thy fellow man. LIVE the life; not by profession, not
by rote, but by deed day by day!

(Q) Regarding my vocation, would the branch of aviation be
the better line?
(A) In ANY that pertains to transportation. In that branch
of aviation as pertaining to transportation would be well.
(Q) Or would landscape architecture be well for me?
(A) The transportation as pertaining to aviation would be
preferable, for this comes within the influences that make
for the oneness with the INNATE influence.
(Q) What particular line of aviation?
(A) As indicated; that pertaining to transportation, whether
in the mail service or in transportation service - these
would be as one.
(Q) What relationship have I had in the past with my present
Aunt [
268]?
(A) As indicated in those forces, in those experiences where
their activities have become correlated from the Roman, we
find the close association.
(Q) Should our lives be associated in this experience? If
so, how?
(A) As then, rather as an incentive one to another; than in
the intercloser relationships.
(Q) What should I begin to work towards right now?
(A) The preparations for the better fitting of the entity in
its activities for those purposes it is to fulfil.
(Q) Shall I ever become highly successful?
(A) This is with thee. Dost thou trust in thyself alone,
no. Dost thou take thy Maker as thy direction, yes.
(Q) May I expect to have a long life in this experience?
(A) It's well to expect it, even though it may be cut short!
But these again depend upon the ACTIVITIES of the entity. If
there are the settings of the purposes in the experience of
an entity that the life IS to be, the life is an expression
of the Creative Forces, the results are long life. For
remember the promises, "Honor thy father, thy mother, that
thy days may be long in the land which the Lord thy God
giveth thee." That is to thee, my son, as well as to every
soul that seeks to know His way.
(Q) Will I be benefitted in this experience, and how?
(A) Dependent upon the application and it has been given
thee as to what to be warned of, what to take hold of, both
in the material and in the mental, also in the spiritual.
They are one; make them one in thine experience. Be TRUE to
thyself, to thy purpose; thou wilt not be false to any.
(Q) Do you see a happy marriage for me?
(A) Not until the latter portion of the life.
(Q) What type person would it be best for me to marry?
(A) One that the mind calls for, one that is in those
experiences, and activities which make for a correlating with
self's - and whose birthday is in October.
(Q) From which side of my family do I inherit most?
(A) You have inherited most from yourself, not from family!
The family is only a river through which it (the entity,
soul) flows!
(Q) Have I had prominent ancestors?
(A) Make them now!
Keep the life that will be as a constructive experience,
knowing that what ye sow ye will also reap. This is the law.
For unto him that is entrusted much, much is required. If
ye would seek to know the way, then, seek within SELF. For
He hath promised to meet thee there. His promises are sure.

GD's note: In the 1950's I heard that [
1233] had not
followed the aviation line which the reading recommended but
had gotten into some trouble which prevented his continuing.
He hopped from one job to another, always coming to his Aunt

268] when he needed financial help. He also had married
earlier than the reading advised and this, too, was
unsuccessful.
His two brothers, [

406] - younger brothers, also

1233] visited A.R.E. today and told
me that he has moved back to Va. after living in Calif. and
other places for twelve years. He had a job in a Country
Club in Calif. Now he is starting on a new job selling
advertising in a newspaper. He reported that his Aunt [

was in Fla. in a mental hospital; he went to see her but was
not allowed to, since she had married a year or so ago and
the husband had charge of all her money, having her declared
incompetent, etc. I feel that perhaps he will apply himself
more now, since he can no longer phone or call on his Aunt
[
268] for help when he needs money, etc.
