8/13/36 Mr. [
1238]'s ltr. to EC:
My dear Mr. Cayce:
I have your letter dated July 27th. Also the enclosure of
the physical and life readings.
In the physical reading you set forth that my circulation is
poor and you prescribe Olive, pine and cedar oil which I have
used to some degree of help. But what I would like to know
is, if that is the only thing that I should rely upon for
complete recovery. Would an osteopath be in the position to
help me, or perhaps a chiropractor?
I am enclosing a check for the Radio Active appliance. You
might have it sent here and please send full instructions as
to how it is to be used. Please have the machine examined so
that it is okay and so that it will work, before it is sent
out.
The Life reading [1238-1], I am sorry to say, I do not
understand. It seems that the language employed and the
construction of the sentences are such, that it is difficult
for me to know what is meant by it. I would appreciate it if
someone in your office who is familiar with your terms would
rewrite the message you give me in simple and plain language.
In the Life reading you tell me it was difficult for you to
pick up my contact. I can see that I am a difficult person,
for ever [even?] Cayce to find. Since God is not on this
earth and he is so busy, I figure he will never be able to
find me, so I want to find Him. Now how am I to do that, and
what road am I to take?
If possible in the rewriting of the Life reading, I may be
able to find the avenue. I hope this finds you well and
thanks for your past courtesies, I am,
Yours very sincerely, 1238]
[GD's note: Miss [...] (mentioned in 1238-2, Par. 18-A)
was steno for this letter.]
See
1238-1 subsequent letters.
11/06/36 See
1238-3, his second Physical Rdg. with questions
in re. mental-material affairs.
