To 6 ounces of Russian White Oil as the base, add - in the
order named:
Pure Olive Oil...................1 ounce,
O'Cedar Oil......................1 ounce,
Kerosene.........................1 ounce,
Oil of Wintergreen...............1 ounce,
Oil of Pine Needles..............1 ounce,
Oil of Mustard.................1/4 ounce,
Oil of Sassafras Root..........1/2 ounce.
This as we find will separate, but shake together. Each
evening when the body is ready for retirement, use this as a
rub along the spinal system, principally upon the spinal
column itself or in each segment; not too hard to begin with
and just what the body will absorb. Let this extend over
especially the joints, as in the plexus of the sacral, the
knees, the feet, the elbow, the shoulder, the wrist and hand.
These we would do for at least a period of the full
application of the charge of the Appliance, see - thirty
days.
We would also be very mindful of the diet, that there are the
properties of Atomidine as a portion of the diet; that is,
those food values of same - as we would find from beets,
carrots, salsify, especially the combinations of these
in their various forms, and those from which the greater
quantity of the activities upon the gastric flow of the
organs of assimilation arise, or that from which a great deal
of insulin may be gathered - which is from the root as well
as the flower of those vegetables from which these are taken.
In these ways and manners, then. While these, of course, are
not all the diets, these - or a great quantity of these -
should each day be a part of same.
Do these for the period, and then we would give further
instructions.
Ready for questions.
(Q) How long should these be followed before the next
reading?
(A) As just given, thirty days.
We are through for the present.

BACKGROUND
7/25/36 Mr. [
333]'s letter to GD: "There are no questions
for this rdg. but as the rdg. progresses if in your judgment
any questions would help please ask them."
7/27/36 EC wrote Mr. [
1242] making appointment.
7/29/36 Mr. [
1242]'s ltr. to EC: "Of course the date set for
the desired appt. is satisfactory but as the majority, I
assume, I am a bit disappointed in not obtaining a rdg.
appt. at a sooner date.
"I am anxious - very much so - to read the results of a rdg.
for my benefit - partly because of curiosity - naturally -
this will be my first and I have heard of so many wonderful
healings due to your work and secondly because I have been in
the hands of dr.'s for so many years and little has been
accomplished. At present I am receiving some last resort
treatments that are destroying as well as healing and I wish
to know whether I should continue with said treatments.
"I do not intend to continue until I hear from you. These
treatments I am now receiving [See
1242-6 questions and
answers] are the cause of most of my troubles. I am sure and
now I am receiving the same treatments for a cure. I am
afraid and naturally and my confidence in the Medical
Profession is quite thin therefore since hearing of you thru
Mr. [
333]. I am anxious to hear from you.
"If the date can be pushed up so my wait will be shorter I
would be indeed pleased..."
REPORTS
8/09/36 Mr. [
333]'s letter: "The reading for [
1242] has
brought a new hope and understanding and he and his wife are
going ahead with earnestness and sincerity. The battery has
been ordered and they have the rubbing compound which they
used for the first time last night. I spent 3 hrs. with them
last evening answering questions about you, the work and the
reading. [
1242] has no longer any desire to hold back on
questions that he wants the answers to and has asked me if I
would write them out sending them to you for you to get them
the answers when you can thru a ck. rdg. I enclose them. I
do not feel that I should try to answer them or put myself
into it in any way in saying whether they should or should
not ask them. It is the desire of the one seeking, not mine,
to judge or discriminate. I am glad to have had a small part
in bringing back the look of determination, the new courage
and cheerfulness in one who is and has been so brave. He has
been doing the best for himself thru doctors and hospitals,
killing the terrible pains with codeine, Anacin and what have
you. Put up with sleepless nights and kept on working every
day..."
GD's note: Later we learned (
8/23/36, to be exact) that
Mr. [
1242] had previously rec'd extensive treatment for
originally a skin condition, now cancer of the face which was
now eating into his throat, and about half of his face gone.
