(Q) What advice may be given me as to the presentation of my
ideas along this line?
(A) As just indicated, know that while these may be in a
manner idealistic, there must be the presenting in the manner
that there is or may be and can be and would be taken into
consideration all the phases of the individual who would or
might consider having such changes made in his environs or
surroundings.
There is the presenting then in a way and manner that such
may BECOME as a representation of the very nature of the
individuals for whom such changes might be wrought!
In presenting same in this way and manner they tell the life,
they tell the story, they tell the whole outlook of those who
have such in their surroundings or who make of such their
environs or surroundings.
(Q) With just what groups should I work in planning for the
building of new homes meeting modern needs? Are there any
specific suggestions for contacts?
(A) Choose those, as you find by the study of their manners
and ways of presentation, who consider the home not just as a
place to stop but who in their presenting or their building
of homes there is taken into consideration that the nature of
the home is the very foundation of the land itself; whether
communities, cities, states or nations!
Then, make thy plans with those who take these things more
into consideration.
(Q) Please advise me in presenting my ideas along this line.
(A) Just as indicated.
(Q) Any specific suggestions for contacts?
(A) As indicated, study the various groups who are engaged
in such undertakings. Remember, it has been said that few
corporations have souls; but it will be found that these are
the ones that are gradually - GRADUALLY - becoming the more
successful in EVERY phase, whether it is moving material
things, preparations of stones and lumber, or in ANY phase of
man's experience! whether building homes, preparation of any
of the phases for their development or what not; in fact, it
will be found in EVERY phase of experience.
(Q) What has caused the apparent blocks repeatedly in the
carrying on of my plans and programs? Please explain and
advise me as to how to meet and overcome this.
(A) Because, as has just been indicated, there has not
always been chosen those that are of a constructive nature in
their whole outlook. Some become entangled in that which is
a part of the material things, or altogether so. And these
do not combine with those influences or forces that are ideal
or idealistic in their very nature.
(Q) Should I continue work on color? Any advice along this
line in developing and presenting my work in this direction?
(A) Why and when it is to be used to indicate or carry
forward the ideas as related to the very preparations for the
environs or surroundings of individuals, and that it may be
worked into same, well. And it would be well to continue the
study in this phase of same.
(Q) Are there any other suggestions (aside from
Westinghouse) for my activities in connection with the
World's Fair in N.Y. and the San Francisco Fair?
(A) These we would hold to, as they are worthy - and are
among those whose very channels or basic forces are above
many another, in the very principles as indicated.
Then we would work with these.
We are through for the present.

REPORTS
5/19/38 EC's letter to [
1246]:
Dear Mrs. [
1246];-
Do hope the information as gotten helps out - am sure you
will have Hugh Lynn go over same with you, and if there is
any thing left out or needs more expanding upon, will be glad
to try and undertake it for you. Of course there is little I
can say - here for what is given is given - and either it is
or it is not worthwhile, and must answer to something within
your own self - and if it doesn't, well, is not worth very
much.
Hoping to have been of a service
Sincerely [signed] Edgar Cayce
5/23/38 [
1246]'s letter to EC:
Dear Mr. Cayce
It is almost midnight but before I go to sleep I want to tell
you how admirably Hugh Lynn conducted the meeting tonight.
He was delightful.
The doctors convincing.
The audience appreciative. And I am sure deeply grateful.
We await your arrival with ill concealed desire.
I wish I may be able to attend your conference. In reply to
your letter - you did help me. I knew the answer lies within
me. I am strangely tired. But I'm sure the way will be
revealed.
Thank you a thousand times.
My love to you all.
5/24/38 HLC's letter to EC: "The meeting last night was most
stimulating. Dr. Mary Miller reported the [
1517], [
1500] and
[
1496] cases - arthritis, cancer and eyes. That opened
the meeting. She had all of them there. The rest of the
doctors, George J. Schoelles, Harold J. Reilly and Frank P.
Dobbins tried to be just as good. They certainly left no
doubt about what they thought. Every one of them admitted,
for example, before about one hundred and fifty (150) people,
that you taught them how to use treatments in their own field
that they never would have thought of. All of them reported
cases handled. Checked the accuracy of the readings and
placed all blame for inaccuracies on the attitude of the
people getting readings. Most of the people present were new
and I have five or six appointments to talk about readings.
"Dr. Henry S. W. Hardwicke made a nice talk on Life Readings
and reported his own. Dave [Kahn] made - too long - but a
good talk on you."
8/14/42 Mrs. [
1246]'s note: "...I am very glad to hear about
this book - [There is a River] and I would be very glad to
buy a copy but since December things have been going very
badly for me, and I shall have to deny myself that
pleasure..."
5/11/43 [
3209]'s letter: "... Recently I had lunch with one
of your "miracles" in N.Y. I know her as [
1246] - her
business pseudonym. We both hope to come to see you..."
1/10/44 Letter reporting on her physical condition [See under
1246-1]: "May I thank you for the help you gave my good
friend Mrs. [
3209]? She is a very rare person. You know I
would not send anybody to you who is unworthy of your time
and service." [Her business letterhead was marked: 1925 -
1943 CLOSED FOR DURATION.]
