(Q) Outline for us the proper procedure to recover this
treasure.
(A) We would go as one in search for game, or fish, or
prospective, or looking over the improvements as have been
made, and are being made, in the vicinity - and camp on the
island, not far from the place as designated, for this could
be accomplished with little labor and preparation. Then,
the search made in the casual way and manner, it would not
require long to remove same - when once the party ready to
remove it, see? but not under the vigilance of those that
watch should it be done, see?
Follow these directions as have been given. There should be
no trouble experienced in discovering and removing this - for
it is here, and, as has been given, EASIER - from natural
conditions - to be removed than any as has been located, see?
for, as is seen here with those conditions surrounding that
from Broad Creek Channel [[
1274] series], these have begun in
the right way and manner, and have gone inward to that place
where the turn should be made - but have turned a little too
soon. Hence are not in the right channel in the last
operations here.
We are through with this reading.
