Dear Dr. Cayce;
I have been called to treat Mr. [
1305] of ..., Mich.
In your reading for him of July 20th, 1937, you suggest the
Sinusoidal current treatment.
I am anxious to work harmoniously with your suggestions on
this case, but it is my opinion that the Sinusoidal current
might be too stimulative with the possible danger of breaking
up the embolus causing stoppage in another location.
Mr. [
1305] has a right hemiplegia with aphasia, but with
patience and persistency in treatment we should be hopeful of
good results.
I will be most grateful for your opinion on the Sinusoidal
wave treatment for this patient.
Respectfully yours, [signed] George E. Mickle, D.O.
8/16/37 EC's ltr. to Dr. Mickle:
Dear Dr. Mickle;-
Thank you for yours of 10th. Our experience Dr. with the
information in the readings, has been where the suggestion is
followed as suggested, and help is offered, results are
excellent. But realize there may be exceptions, and am sure
your judgement in the case is best as you handle the case.
In the Hospital here when it was open, and the use of such
treatments were suggested, the test of a very low current was
used, and proved most helpful.
I feel that Mr. [
1305] under your care should get wonderful
results, and would suggest you follow your feelings in the
matter.
Thanking you, and with all good wishes.
Sincerely, [signed] Edgar Cayce

"Brother-in-law [
1305] is up and around, going to his
business a few hours daily. Of course he is not so far
improved as I had hoped for - but they did not follow the
information that came through.
"However, the other party [
1547] I feel will be more
cooperative and we are very anxious to have the information."
