TEXT

  1. GC: You will answer the questions regarding this body, as I ask them:
  2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Ready for questions.
  3. (Q) What foods should I include in my weekly diet and in what amount?
    (A) Sufficient amounts to satisfy the appetite. Those that are inclined to be body-building in their reaction, and yet inclined to be towards the more perfect eliminations, should be chosen as portions of the diet. The regular diet outlined is well. In the present such as raisins, figs - the black, preferably; prunes and such things - cooked; these should be portions of the diet. Then sufficient quantities of regular foods, both cooked and raw, to satisfy appetite.
  4. (Q) What about butter and sugar?
    (A) In moderation; and cooked in things, not harmful.
  5. (Q) What can I include in my daily diet to give me more warmth and energy?
    (A) As has been indicated.
  6. (Q) Shall I resume taking One a Day tablets?
    (A) These we would begin within two weeks anyway, and continue through the cool or cold months.
  7. (Q) Shall I take Adiron?
    (A) This we would not take, if the One a Day tablets are taken, except at intervals. About once or twice a week leave off the One a Day and take the Adiron - two tablets on that day.
  8. (Q) Will taking two drops Atomidine mornings clear the thickness in my throat?
    (A) It will aid to do same. And then we would use a gargle of Lavoris or Glyco-Thymoline occasionally. Keep up the Atomidine for five days, and leave it off five days, and so on.
  9. (Q) Would 1 treatment a month from Dr. Schoelles be enough to keep my body in good condition for my daily work?
    (A) It should be sufficient, if the general precautions otherwise are taken.
  10. (Q) Shall I take peanut oil massage, and how often?
    (A) If this is desired. It is beneficial to all, and - as indicated tends to be a preventative of rheumatic or arthritic tendencies. This, then, would for this body be desirable. Take it twice or three times a week, especially the limbs and along the spine.
  11. (Q) What is cause of sleeplessness? and what treatment for same?
    (A) The general treatments as indicated. This is as much or more from mental anxiety than otherwise. When this is removed, or the way of thinking is changed, this will be changed.
  12. (Q) Please give cause and treatment for corns?
    (A) Misfitting of shoe is usually the cause of corns. The best treatment is to use Camphor and Soda. Wet plain baking soda with spirits of camphor and apply nightly until the corn is removed. Then fit the shoes nominally.
  13. (Q) Any other suggestions for maintaining maximum health this winter?
    (A) Keep those attitudes spiritually and mentally for creative forces; the right thinking as much as right living.
  14. We are through with this Reading.
