3/25/37 Reply to Questionnaire:
(4) Have the suggestions given in the Reading been followed
exactly as outlined?
Exactly but without any beneficial results.
(5) For how long?
More than two months and am still observing the diet
suggestion and sun lamp treatment.
(6) Describe the extent to which improvements have resulted?
Am just badly off as ever.
(7) Comment.
It seems to me your reading does not connect up with me in
any way whatever. As to acidity, I have had several tests
made all of which show no acid nor trouble with my limbs and
never have had. As to poisons in the system this also seems
to be an error. Based on advise from the several doctors
who have treated me for the past several months, there is
no such condition existing in my system as far as could be
determined by any of them.
As to the need of a changed climate; I was unable to go to
Florida for the sun so bought a sun lamp and have been taking
treatments with it but it seems to do little or no good and
I am of the opinion that it was a needless expenditure
costing a goodly sum of money.
As to whether I followed your instructions. Yes, I followed
them fully to the last letter in regard to medicine, diet and
everything else, for I was determined to derive as much
benefit from your reading as possible.
It would be unwise to spend so much money and not follow
instructions so you may be sure you have been given a fair
trial in my strict observance of your suggestions.
In view of the above, since this experience has cost me about
fifty dollars, it is suggested you give me a check reading
with a view of helping me if you can.
At present I am taking diathermy treatment and may have to
undergo an operation if this also fails.

Mr. Edgar Cayce,
Virginia Beach, Va.
Dear Sir:-
Yours of the 29th inst. received and I note what you say; I
will be at the above address in a receptive mood at the time
indicated. I am convinced of your sincerity and hope you
will be able to do something for me as I have been ailing
since last May and it is getting irksome.
Mrs. [

602] and Mr. [
333] say you have helped
them and I am willing to try as long as there is a chance to
be helped.
As to questions:
Is it actually prostate gland enlargement that is troubling
me? Is there an acid condition now, as it sometime seems to
me this might be the case.
Will an operation be necessary for the gland if this is the
trouble?
What medicine is required if any?
Will driving long distances prove troublesome?
Will some work prove objectionable? How about diet for
present and future? Will the treatment I am now receiving
be helpful and how long should it be continued if advisable.
What caused my nervous trouble last spring?
