4/12/37 Reply to Questionnaire:
(2) Give symptoms of condition described correctly?
The only symptom described correctly was as to gall & liver
area, but somewhat generally throughout, except as to
"headaches" of which I had been unusually free for some
time.
(3) What was the physician's analysis of this condition?
"Lumbar sacral sciatic neuralgia".
(4) Have the suggestions given in the Reading been followed
exactly as outlined?
Almost - That is, all but osteopathic and that partially.
Could not carry out complete as to osteopathic as was
travelling considerably.
(5) For how long?
[No response]
(6) Describe the extent to which improvements have resulted?
Much relief in digestive and gall bladder.
(7) Comment.
My trouble started in August 1936 with pains in bottom of
foot (left), getting up into lower back and in hips
particularly left. Pains in hips & back now almost gone
but left foot still bothering me quite acutely. Recent
x-ray report showed negative except "a few calcified
arteries in region of metatarsal bones, and an old area
of periosteitis on 2nd met. bone." - but pressure tests
at ankle & above knee showed better than normal in both
feet (flow of blood). I am still suffering a great deal
and feel quite badly most of the time.
