8/09/37 EC's ltr. to Miss [
1339]:
Dear Miss [
1339];-
Thank you for yours of the 2nd - it came while I was taking
a few days off for a rest, hence the delay in answering.
We have found it is well to have a list of questions for
the life reading, that is why we ask every one to make a
list of same and it saves a lot of explaining later.
Glad you have found your reading of interest, and feel sure
you will find it more and more so - as you really apply the
suggestions. For we believe from the experiences of several
years, they are really practical suggestions, and much more
often than otherwise fit in with the better order of things.
Feel very sure, Miss [
1339], from the information, a great
deal happiness is in store for you in making a home, than
in a career. And what ever way you may apply yourself in
that direction, will bring much better experiences for you.
As to whether the young man in question is the, THE one,
well, of course, the reading would not indicate unless the
question was asked, then would possibly leave it to your own
will. For it is not the purpose of the information to take
the place of your will, or choice, but rather to give you the
best constructive picture of the innate development of your
self and what will be the field of better development. And
be sure, this is from the Soul stand point and not just
material. For if your heart and soul is not in what ever
you may undertake, eventually it must be a failure.
Does your heart prompt you to go to Chicago to be near your
friend? By all means do so. Is there a doubt or question
in your mind think it over twice before you decide.
Remember your life, and its work depends on what you put in
it. Am sure from the information, the HOME IS BEST, and all
too seldom is there preparation made for such. And what ever
is to bring us happiness, we must work at. Not merely drift
or leave to circumstances, make them. Hope this will help,
but should you wish an answer to these questions from the
reading approach, it will be necessary to make an
appointment. If you wish this, wire me and we will give
you a definite period. Hoping to have been of a service.
With all good wishes,
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce
