TEXT

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them.
2. EC: Yes.
3. As we find, there are the effects of those disturbances which have been indicated with the activity of the liver.
4. The condition is not true gallstones, but rather that of sediment - and irritates the duct.
5. Thus with the EMPTYING of foods from the duodenum, through those areas into the jejunum, without the activity of the juices or the excretions from this area, a great deal of pain is experienced, as well as nausea, by the gas and gas formations throughout the alimentary canal.
6. In the present, as we find:
7. For two to three hours each day for at least three days, we would apply the Castor Oil Packs over the liver and gall duct area. These should be as hot as the body can well stand, keeping an electric pad on same to cause better absorption of the Oil. Use at least three thicknesses of flannel dipped in the Oil and wrung out, then applied and kept warm. Do this each day for the three days.
8. During that period let the diet be rather liquids and fruits than other foods.
9. On the evening of the third day take internally two tablespoonsful of Olive Oil, when retiring.
10. The next morning before arising (and best to remain in bed for at least six to eight hours) take at least half a teacup of Fleet's Phospho-Soda. This may be stirred in a glass of warm water and taken. Lie upon the right side, with a pillow pushed hard under the area of the gall duct and liver (under the right side, you see). Lie in that position until there is the flowing out, or the activities of draining the area by the activity of the Fleet's Phospho-Soda; that is, until it has acted thoroughly, you see.
11. Do that.
12. Then, do not overeat, but keep more to the vegetables, fruits and the like; and we will overcome these conditions.
13. Should there arise any after effects, use high colonics to alleviate the poisons flushed into the colon and not eliminated. When using the colonics or enemas, use a salt and soda solution; the proportions being a heaping teaspoonful of table salt and a level teaspoonful of baking soda dissolved thoroughly in a quart and a half of water body temperature. Then for the last or rinse water, use a tablespoonful of Glyco-Thymoline to the quart of water body temperature.
14. Occasionally we would have a gentle massage of the abdomen. If properly given, this may be done better with the electrically driven vibrator than with the hand or by mechanical means of that nature. Use the sponge applicator. Do not bear too hard, of course, but go across the abdomen back and forth, even from the lower portion of the ribs, across the stomach, down across the jejunum and the abdomen.
15. Do these.
16. Be precautious as to the medicines taken. Let them not be too much of a straining nature, as of cathartics that upset. For these applications suggested will produce soreness for a time, and the body should remain quiet as much as practical. Not that it is not to move about, or to be in the open, or to be up, but not too much activity; for the body will need to build back strength, that will be taken or used up by the severity of draining this area.
17. Ready for questions.
18. (Q) How is her heart and blood pressure?
    (A) These applications suggested will aid in equalizing this, from the general conditions through the abdominal areas indicated.
19. We are through for the present.

    Copy to Self through daughter
    Copy to Ass'n file
[Questions answered without being asked: Is there anything wrong with her stomach, as she has gas so much and vomiting spells? Is her liver and gall bladder alright?]
(See directions [which were enclosed] for preparing Castor Oil Packs.)

BACKGROUND

1. See 1343-3 on 6/02/37 and daughter [4101]'s questions submitted in October, 1940 under 1343-3 Reports.

REPORTS

1. 11/06/40 Daughter [4101]'s letter: "I received your letter and also your reading on Mother and thanks so much - we have started the treatments and feel sure they should help her.
"Will you please advise me what the cost is and I will forward same to you.
"Mother is still suffering from arthritis and she is suffering so much with her hands and would like to know what can be done for her. They just throb all the time."
2. 12/29/42 Son, [1323] ordered copy of the book, THERE IS A RIVER to be sent to his mother and family in Ohio, an autographed copy by Edgar Cayce.
3. 4/19/44 Daughter, [5313]'s letter: "I would like to make an appointment for a reading for myself. [See 5313-4.]
"Is the H.H.R. Corp. still in existence and could we get a replacement of the wires in the jars for the gold treatment. My mother has been steadily getting worse and I thought I would like to go back to these treatments. It is very hard to get her to cooperate, as she thinks there is nothing that can help her. She will not stick to anything long enough to get results.
"I don't know whether you know that we lost our father in January, he was eighty-two years old, and was fairly active to the last week. He had a stroke.
"With kind regards to all, I am," Sincerely, [5313]
4. 4/28/44 Daughter, [5313]'s letter: "Thank you for the information as to where I can get my repairs done on the appliance. My sister is taking my mother out east with her for a visit, thinking the change will do her some good, and when she returns I want to try your treatment again, for nothing seems to help her."
