TEXT

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here.
2. As we find, the greater disturbances arise from inactivity an superactivity of the glandular system.
3. Hence, as related to the functioning of the organs, depressions are produced in some reactions and overactivity is produced in others.
4. Hence the alterations in the manner of reaction at times in the body, the highly nervous tension in some periods, the inactivity of the organs in assimilation and especially in eliminations during periods, make for a suppression to the nominal reaction for the physical and mental coordination at periods.
5. Also there are the inabilities of the body for proper conception, proper reaction in eliminations. Hence the upsetting condition to the body through the kind, the character of headaches as arise from same; and the general disturbance to the body.
6. As we find, in making applications - these as we find will necessarily need to be changed as conditions are developed for the body.
7. First we would begin with deep osteopathic manipulations about twice or three times each week, with special reference to the adjustments and coordinations to be made in the lumbar, the coccyx area, and the coordinating forces from these adjustments in the dorsal and cervical area.
8. Also we would add the vibratory forces for the body as related to the nerve system and the replenishing of same, and to bring about the activities in relation to the organs under stress by the change of the glandular forces. Such vibratory forces may be added through the low electrical Wet Cell Appliance carrying Gold. In this particular body the attachments would be made in this manner:
9. The small or copper anode would be attached first, to the last dorsal area; while the larger nickel plate (cupped), carrying the Gold Solution (two grains Chloride of Gold to one ounce of Distilled Water; these proportions) - using at least fifteen to sixteen ounces of the Solution in the container - would be attached last, to the umbilicus and lacteal duct area, or a hand's breadth from the navel or umbilicus center - toward the right, to be sure.
10. This would be attached once each day for twenty minutes in the beginning.
11. After these applications have been made in this way for twenty-nine days (that is, the mechanical adjustments osteopathically and the Wet Cell Appliance as indicated), then we would give further instructions.
12. In the matter of the diet and the physical activities:
13. These as we find we would keep rather in the manner as has been outlined for the body, but in the open as much as the weather and the general conditions of the body permit.
14. Do this, then, for the twenty-nine days.
15. Ready for questions.
16. (Q) How long at a period should the Appliance be used?
    (A) As given, in the beginning use for twenty minutes each day. After this first period of twenty-nine days it may be altered or changed as to location and as to the vibratory forces given.
    Do these in the present.
Twice to three times each week make the applications of adjustments in the lumbar and lower dorsal and coccyx area, coordinating the upper dorsal and cervical with same to relieve the nerve pressures and to allow for the activity of the low electrical vibration (through the Wet Cell Appliance) to work with glandular system and assimilating system; so that we may overcome this nausea, overcome those tendencies for poor eliminations and assimilations.
17. We are through for the present.

Copy to Husband (Extra copy to Mrs. [601], 3/19/37)
Copy to Ass'n file (Let us know when treatment - complete - has been followed for twenty-nine days; so we may make appointment for Check Reading. GD.)
