Miss Gladys Davis
c/o Assn. for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.
Virginia Beach, Virginia
Dear Miss Davis:
Since the reading which was held for Mrs. [
1368], the members
of her family have been trying to persuade her to go to the
hospital for observation and treatment. So far they have
been entirely unsuccessful in persuading her to take this
step. Under these circumstances Miss [...] and I wondered
if it would not be advantageous to have another reading for
Mrs. [
1368].
Since the first reading indicated that there might be some
rather serious complications, Miss [...] and I believe it
would be better to have the reading without telling Mrs.
[
1368]. Then she will have no cause for worry because of it.
It is suggested that the reading be held preferably in the
morning when it can easily be arranged that Mrs. [
1368] be at
home. So will you advise us what date will be convenient so
that the necessary arrangements can be made at this end of
the line.
Miss [...] has suggested that the following questions or
similar ones be asked at the time of the reading:
1. In view of Mrs. [
1368]'s lack of willingness to go to the
hospital, should further steps be taken to try and persuade
her at this time to go.
2. Should she continue to take sleeping powders.
3. What diet would be most beneficial.
Very truly yours, [
261]
6/05/37 See
1368-2.
