(Q) Has Dr. Curtis Hudgins, Bankers Trust Bldg., Norfolk,
Va., given me the correct adjustments and coordinations in
the regions of the cervical, dorsal, lumbar areas of my body,
and have the dis-eased conditions been removed? If not,
please give him SPECIFIC INFORMATION so he (Dr. Hudgins) may
be able to make the correct adjustments.
(A) As we find, these are progressing in the proper
directions. There needs to be more attention given in the
areas of the 2nd and 3rd dorsal, as well as in the 3rd and
5th cervical. These are GOING in the right direction, but
make more adjustments from the RIGHT side in the DORSAL area,
and more of a LATERAL nature in the 3rd and 4th cervical.
There should be periods of these adjustments. Take four,
five to six treatments, - rest about the equal amount or
period, and then take again. Remember, mechanical
(osteopathic) adjustments, like even properties as may be
taken of the medicinal nature, are only correctives - and
NATURE, or the DIVINE force, does the healing!
(Q) What is the condition of my eyes, nose, ears and throat?
If I need glasses, to whom should I go to have them fitted?
(A) The body needs glasses for close work, or for reading;
especially of evenings or night. And these as we find would
be fitted by a GOOD optometrist; not necessarily one that is
an oculist, but a GOOD optometrist.
As we find, those corrections as just indicated in those
areas that border upon and affect the activity of the organs
of the sensory system, in associations with the connections
and impulses from the dorsal AND cervical centers, will -
with their full correction - remove much of the strain that
at present exists upon the eyes, ears, nose and throat.
While those pressures have existed, the disturbances have
gradually grown to be a condition of affectation or
disturbance. In the first few weeks after corrections there
will apparently be more irritation through the eyes, also the
feeling as of a burr or a roughness to the throat, nasal
passages, and as to hearing. But as the body adjusts itself,
these will disappear. But as for the vision, aid this with
glasses; especially in close work and in reading.
(Q) What is now the condition of my gums and should I
continue to use Ipsab?
(A) These also, as we find, need the local attention as well
as the care as to the general health and upbuilding of the
body. These show a great deal of improvement from the
condition as we have had at times heretofore. We would,
periodically, make application of those things that have been
suggested.
(Q) Is the disease in my gums contagious?
(A) When four out of five have it, as is the sign of some,
then we find this is not termed as contagious, but rather as
that which may be transmitted, - yes.
(Q) Is it necessary for me to consult a dentist in regard
to my teeth?
(A) Not in the present.
(Q) What is the cause and relief of excessive perspiration?
(A) This is rather to the body a virtue than a fault. For,
this is one of nature's means or manners of eliminating those
poisons from the system. To be sure, this may become so
excessive as to be a disturbing factor, because of making an
unbalancing in the perspiratory, respiratory and the general
eliminating system.
Those corrections as indicated, when properly or fully
administered, SHOULD care for this; but do not become
overanxious or excited about this special condition - rather
take advantage of same and use the baths to aid in keeping
the body physically fit.
(Q) Should I continue to take Calcios and Serutan?
(A) We would. Do this, though, in periods; not as a
constant thing but be persistent and consistent. Take it
for three weeks, rest three weeks, then begin again, see?
This do especially through the coming winter months.
(Q) Would it be well for me, at times, to take a stronger
laxative; if so, please suggest one that would help me?
(A) It's well to change the nature of the laxatives to
suit the needs from time to time. For, as for this body,
we find that both the mineral AND the vegetable laxatives
are applicable; especially from the forms of excesses of
activity that have existed in some directions. A mineral
salts we would take, of the natures that are not excessive
but that are aiding in producing better activity through the
system. As we find, the salts in combinations with the
saline activity as well as the calcium in its base would
be the better [Sal Hepatica?]. As for the vegetable
laxative, those that are of the senna base are preferable.
(Q) What can I do to keep my hair from turning gray and
falling out?
(A) Do not be fearful of the hair turning gray! Eat plenty
of potato peelings, rather than the potato itself! The part
of the potato that is usually peeled and thrown away is the
part that MOST people should eat, especially for their hair!
This will be aided also by the Calcios; and the peel of MOST
fruits, - as lemons, oranges - use these as flavoring in
the desserts or the like; and we will find these will make
bettered conditions.
Any good dandruff remover, such as we find in Listerine, is
well to keep the scalp clean; and then such conditions in
the diet will keep the body in better shape; as the activity
of the thyroid, of course, governs in these directions.
(Q) Should I take Eno Salts for the pains in my right arm?
(A) Rather eliminate those through those things as we have
indicated; using the salts in the combinations as outlined.
(Q) What is cause and cure for the pains on both sides of
my back?
(A) Those corrections as indicated in the dorsal and
cervical areas should remove the pressures in the system,
and then the keeping of the better eliminations in the body
by the varying of the eliminants in the manner indicated,
should keep these in abeyance.
(Q) Are my lunches detrimental to my health; if so, please
suggest correct ones.
(A) These as we find are not detrimental; PROVIDED they do
not become so obnoxious to the body as to become tiresome to
the mental attitude of the body. If so, then change same;
by taking a hot lunch occasionally.
(Q) In my reading given Jan. 2, 1940, [
1467-6] I was told
that there would come the opportunity for a change in my
work that would be better for my health as well as for my
financial advancement. Has this opportunity to make the
change passed, or shall I still look forward to it? Please
advise.
(A) It is still coming. As indicated, the entity must prove
self not only able to "take it!" as it were, but able to
assume greater responsibilities in those activities that
surround the body. This will come. Don't be impatient.
(Q) Is there any special man or company that I should
consult that would help me in making this change in my work?
(A) These will present themselves in the right way and
manner. Be not unmindful of those things that are being
indicated from time to time to the body, that though a man,
though self, may work with individuals who apparently are
unmindful of spiritual activities, these God uses. Do not
abuse them.
(Q) Would it be to my advantage at this time to make
arrangements to BUY a lot on Va. Beach Blvd. on which to
build a home?
(A) It would be very well to make such arrangements, though
DO NOT make the arrangements in such a way and manner as
to obligate self as to cause anxieties in other directions;
that is: Go slow, - but make the arrangements, so that this
may be easily taken care of by the activities, though it
may require six months or a year or eighteen months before
completing the full arrangements, see?
(Q) Would it be advisable for me to seek employment with
the Government, or should I stay where I am for the time
being?
(A) As indicated, stay where you are for the time being.
This does not hinder from making INVESTIGATIONS with the
Government, indicating the ABILITIES of the entity in the
present environs.
(Q) Please give me some spiritual advice?
(A) Study to show self approved unto that ye set as thy
ideal. Know thy ideal, physically, mentally, spiritually;
not that as ye would have be given thee, but that as ye may
minister and give other. Know the author of thy ideals, and
that He is able to keep that ye commit unto Him against any
contingencies that may arise in thy experience.
Condemn not anyone, if ye would not be condemned. Forgive
as ye would be forgiven. For this is pleasing in His sight.
We are through with this reading.
