11/05/38 Mother [
1498]'s letter:
"There are questions I would like to ask. [
1490] seems much
better. Her body covered very nicely this summer with a
brown pigmentation, but there are still areas which are
spotted.
"She seems to be less nervous, and her stammering has almost
completely disappeared. I feel she has made great progress.
We have been very consistent in her treatments, first the
osteopath, and then the battery [Wet Cell], and I have tried
to follow her diet closely.
"These are the questions concerning her: Is she making
satisfactory progress in overcoming the conditions for which
she is being treated? Could you give us some idea as to how
much time will elapse before she is normal? Her hair is very
gray in patches. Will it regain its natural color? Is there
still pressure in the 6th and 7th dorsal, in the coccyx? Her
tonsils seem to have become enlarged. There are times when
they fill her throat and cause her voice to be very full. I
don't want to have them taken out unless it is absolutely
necessary. Should we continue the Atomidine? Will you
please advise in as much detail as possible what her diet
should be? Should she continue having dried milks?"
REPORTS
11/28/38 Letter of Geo. J. Schoelles, D.O.: "I believe that
[
1490] is progressing nicely to an early cure and then I will
have an interesting case report for you."
