Dear Mr. Cayce:-
The reading was very clear and got rid of all ambiguity and
confusion. I believe I grasp every point of the answers to
my questions. Of course, in a thing like this, there are
many, many more questions which could be asked - but I
believe some obligation accrues to me to exercise my
judgement as to certain details.
One answer only tended to be vague - but that was cleared
up by a later question. I have already taken steps to have
a model constructed and believe it may take a month or six
weeks to get the tube and try it out.
Will of course let you know of progress. Two points I should
like to emphasize with which I feel you will strongly agree.
The first is that the project should be kept confidential -
and, until results are established by practice, - no attempt
will be made to patent it. There is such a deeply ingrained
conviction in the radio profession that static can NOT be
eliminated - that it is likely the patent office could refuse
a case, unless it is undisputably reduced to practice. I
have full faith it will be - and will then make application.
This operation may take a year to fulfill.
I am determined that, should there be any financial returns
in connection with it, the world shall be blessed by its
being so. I also assure you that the Association will be
recognized in such an event - so that your work may be helped
and benefitted.
The second part is that should a patent on such a technical
subject be granted through such definite psychic aid as has
been evident here, there might be an occasion, since its
subject matter would affect a vested industry, to bring out
publicity of too materialistic a character.
It is my obligation to use this in doing good and for HIS
glory and the thing to do is to await definite results and
we will then go back to the sources for guidance and act
properly to safeguard the position attained, so that the
device may not be pre-empted by selfish interests who would
be only too glad at the opportunity to attack its patent
validity.
I therefore urge caution in keeping the matter quiet until
the vine is ripened. There is surely a miracle here and it
will be made to bless all who have had a part in it.
It is our duty to make no conscious mistakes and I cannot
help, in this case, to recall the admonition - "And He
charged them that they should tell no man". The wisest
course is always silence - letting Truth be its own herald.
One thing I would like to let you know about. My first
conception of the device was incorrect in several ways and
incomplete with respect to modern practice. Even after
receipt of the last reading - an important technical part was
missing - but a little prayer did the trick and a solution
came to me which takes care of it in a very novel and
advantageous method. You see, I had to hook this tube
up with a feasible way to TUNE the radio set to different
stations and the first sketch didn't show that. Every point
is now definitely planned.
Please give my warm regards to your good assistants and with
many blessings to you. Faithfully yours, [

New York Murray Hill ...
Dear Mr. Cayce:-
I have had a time trying to convince the Hygrade Sylvania
people that there was something in the static eliminator
tube.
They finally have consented to make a few samples, but want
$200.00 for the job. My faith is still steadfast - but
in the process of reviewing details they required certain
changes in the design of the tube which may not come within
the correct interpretation of what was given to us in the
previous readings.
Questions of tube performance are involved as to heating,
mounting details and the relative position of the different
elements which I had to adapt to their needs to get them to
consent to build the samples at all.
The attached list of questions are very carefully prepared.
The answers will either solve the problem or indicate that my
understanding of what is being conveyed, is greatly at fault.
Previous readings have not indicated thus, and in spite of
technical advice, with one exception - a man who is a very
eminent radio engineer - I believe that the matter will be
clarified so that, at the reasonable risk with which the last
reading left me, - I can proceed with my experiments.
I am compiling a second list of questions about my affairs
for a later reading and would be pleased to hear from you
setting an appointment for this one. With warm regards to
all, I am
Sincerely yours, [

P.S. Will you please return the charts A to D - as they are
the only identification I have with the questions.
