(Q) Should the application of the Mutton Tallow, Camphor and
Turpentine be applied throughout the whole course of the
osteopathic treatments?
(A) The whole course of the osteopathic treatments. That
should be a portion of the treatment, you see. First is the
relaxing of the body by wet heat, see; the adjustments and
osteopathic manipulations - of course, the body dried before
that. Then afterwards the wet heat applied, then the body
not sponged entirely dry but the compound applied - that is,
the mutton tallow, camphor and turpentine - and then wet heat
on top of same for five to ten minutes. Then sponge off dry,
you see; VERY dry.
