DR. C. W. IRVIN
OSTEOPATHIC PHYSICIAN
507 Bankers Trust Building
Norfolk, Virginia
Mr. Edgar Cayce,
Arctic Circle,
Virginia Beach, Va.
Dear Mr. Cayce;-
Please accept my thanks for referring to me, Mrs. [
1563];
upon examination I find that she has bilateral sacro-iliac
lesions which are undoubtedly causing the trouble in her
lower limbs; there are also very marked lesions in the
cervical and upper dorsal regions, slightly enlarged
thyroid (which appears to be of the fibrous type) and
systolic pressure of 180. As I look over your reading
I find that this coincides very closely with what you
found.
I feel sure that marked improvement will result from
correction of these lesions, and I shall refer the patient
back to you upon completion of her treatment, and shall be
interested to know further of your findings.
Most sincerely yours, [signed] C. W. Irvin

Dear Mr. Cayce;-
I have just dismissed Mrs. [
1563] and am advising her to
return to you for a check reading. This patient has improved
greatly, but the condition in the lumbar spine was of long
standing, and it is possible that it will need further
attention.
