This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 29th day of September, 1938, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [1573], Associate Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Present: Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.

TEXT

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes.
3. As we find, the poor superficial circulation in the present, and the tendency for high blood pressure, prevents the nominal or normal eliminations.
4. Thus the humor which aggravates the superficial circulation - or as a humor under the skin. Not so much a rash or breaking until it has been scratched or rubbed; then it becomes VERY irritating.
5. These as we find arise from a combination of disturbances.
6. First there should be an increasing of the eliminations through the alimentary canal, to make for a cleansing of the system; thus allowing conditions to rather adjust themselves in the circulatory way and manner.
7. As we find, it would be most beneficial to use Zilatone as an eliminant to stir the activity of the liver, and to use enemas to assist in cleansing the colon from the extra amount of the poisons which cause a great deal of the irritation.
8. Take the Zilatone regularly for several weeks, see? Begin with one tablet after the morning meal and two tablets after the evening meal.
9. After the first day, even though the eliminations are increased, we would CLEANSE the colon with an enema.
10. Take the Zilatone in the same manner for three days. Then have another enema, see?
11. Then skip one day.
12. Continue then in the same manner for three days, and so on; one tablet after the morning meal, two after the evening meal. Skip one day in between the three-day periods, and take a high enema. Continue this procedure for SEVERAL weeks, see?
13. Apply LOCALLY the Prescription DDD, and for this body, under the conditions, this in the form of the lotion would be not preferable, you see; but rather use the ointment. The ointment is not quite as severe, yet will allay the itching and irritation.
14. The diet, as has been indicated, as a greater part of the disturbance. The body should refrain from any fats of ANY nature. No butter. No fat meat of any kind, and very little of the lean. Fish and fowl are preferable as the meats. None of these fried. No fried foods of any kind.
15. Do these and as we find we will make for the better conditions.

17. (Q) What causes dizziness in head?
    (A) Toxic forces and conditions as indicated, because of the lack of stirring the liver. This - owing to the pressure in the blood supply, or because of its abnormalcy - causes the recurrent nerve energies to flow back to the head, causing the dizziness.
    Drink plenty of water with the Zilatone; at least a glass and a half or two glasses when each dose is taken.

1. 1/19/39 She phoned questions for another reading, saying: "All my life have been irregular with monthly periods; in fact, have NEVER been normal. Once I didn't menstruate for eight years, then since then I've only done so once a year - and then a flooding, once for fourteen days. Haven't menstruated now for over a year; used to menstruate in December every year; the last time, December a year ago, the doctor had to give me shots to stop the flooding. Another thing, I can't stand heat."
