5/27/38 letter: "My dear Mr. Cayce: Thank you so much for
your letter of the 24th - and for your very kind offer to
help me understand my Life Rdg.
"I have gone over it with Hugh Lynn - and he took away the
first feelings of bewilderment that I experienced. This
morning, I had occasion to call on Mr. [
257] and he offered
to go over it with me. In a measure, he, too, helped me.
"But I think it will take considerable study on my part
to fully understand how to get the utmost value from
your reading.
"I will confess that I am not able to determine which one of
my past experiences in the earth has so much bearing on the
present experience - not how to apply the lessons gained
from that experience to today's living.
"Neither do I understand that feeling of REGRET that goes
back over the years to my birth. Would I be helped in
knowing just WHAT I am regretting?
"Hugh Lynn knows that I have already gone to the library and
have gotten some books pertaining to those periods of my past
experiences. Perhaps reading these will give me some light.
"I do hope that I shall be able to attend the meetings to
be held at Virginia Beach the latter part of next month -
especially since it will mean meeting you. I have a feeling
that I should know you in person. I know so many people whom
you have helped.
"To whom does one write to make reservations for their stay
in Virginia Beach?
"Thank you again for your offer to help."
