Hence as ye study - in thine OWN counsel - the lives of those
who had, yea that manifested, a mission in the earth, and by
their activity have changed the map as it were, opened the
way for the prayer that He gave, "May I and the world (not of
the world, but) be one, even as Thou and I are one," these
will offer channels through which the entity will find peace;
yea, find joy in a service.
In giving then the interpretations of the astrological
aspects, these as we find have been very contrary as it were.
For the entity has listened to voices without, and has not
realized or held to that inner knowledge that thy body is
indeed the temple of the living God, and that it is there -
in the recesses of thine own heart, in the holy of holies of
thy consciousness - He has promised to speak with thee, and
direct thee in the ways thou should go.
Know as the psalmist that when others have forsaken thee, the
Lord will bear thee up, and will cover thee with His promises
of love. And it is then thy measure of faith, yea thy
measure of service that ye just be patient and kind, even to
those who have at times so despitefully used thee.
Thus ye will find that the answer to thy problems comes in
that promise as He gave, "Take then my yoke upon thee and
learn of me, for my yoke is easy, my burden is light; to
those who abide in the household of faith."
As we find in the astrological influences, then; Venus,
Jupiter, Uranus, Mercury have been a part of the experience.
The entity has loved well materially; not always wisely. For
being so intuitive, so loving as to be taken advantage of,
the results have not been in keeping with the intent. Hence
it has been given to such, "Be ye wise as serpents but
harmless as doves," speaking evil of none; finding whereunto
there is rather the COOPERATIVE point of contact with each
phase of human experience and human endeavor, knowing and
realizing that no power exists save as is allowable by the
Father.
And he whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth, and purgeth every
one; that they may bear fruit indeed in Him. Not such that
the teeth of the children of men are set on edge by the
sourness of their lives, but rather that there is the
stimulation to activity.
Not neglectful of the little things, not unmindful of the
humbleness necessary. Knowing He is not a respecter of
persons. For he that is the greatest is indeed the servant
of all.
Jupiter is the protective influence; and if there is the
application of self in the directions indicated - when
Jupiter and Venus enter a conjunction through the latter
portions of the present year - there should begin an
unfoldment for the entity that may become as beautiful as the
harts upon the hills and as the ripple of the many waters;
that bring the joy in their life-giving forces as well as
their purging of body and mind for a more beautiful service
to Him.
In Uranus we find the extremes; but know that ONLY in the
Christ do extremes meet. Hence weigh well - as ye analyze
thy activities, thy associations; and know that good emanates
from good intent and purpose. For as ye sow, so ye reap.
And as ye cultivate the promptings of giving the cup of
water, so may thy life be filled with the water of truth and
light in which no one thirsteth that drinketh deep of those
purposes that prompt same - for HIS love.
We find from Mercury the mental abilities and the beautiful
visions that have opened at times to the entity in the
abilities when there appeared as if the affluence of the
environ of self might arise and bring into the associations
that which was materially beautiful.
All the beauty, all the love is of the Father. All the
selfishness, all the hate, all the spite are of those things
that make us aware of our facing the shadows rather than the
light.
Then right about face and keep thy face TOWARD the sunlight
of truth, as is shown in Him; and the shadows will fall far
behind.
As to the appearances in the earth, we find these not great
in numbers in the present influencing the experience. Though
far and varied in their activities, we find these ARE mindful
in the influences they bear upon thyself in the present.
Before this we find the entity was in the land now known as
the Mexican and Yucatan land, during those periods when there
were the voices of the peoples in the land proclaiming that
there had come a new revelation to those that had been
strangers in a portion of the land.
The entity was among the priestesses of the Mayan experience.
It was just before that period when those as from the east
had come, and there were the beginnings of the unfoldments of
the understanding that there were other portions of the same
land, or those that were visiting from other worlds or

The entity journeyed with those from her own abode, where
there were those attempts for the closer communion, and the
material things had brought distortions in the experience.
For blood had been spilled in sacrifice, and these were as
torments to the entity; yet the counselors and those in the
positions of trust had ordered thus.
Hence we find in the present experience those things that
require the spilling of blood, as of sacrifices that take
hold upon the destruction of others, become as torments as it
were to the entity.
Yet we find how and why, from those experiences, the entity
seeks to delve into the mysteries of those who have set this
or that as a pattern of rote to and through which minds may
be bent or trained to acquiring certain EXPERIENCES in their
material life.
The name then was Mu-el.
Before that we find the entity was in the earth during the
days when the Master walked in the earth, and in and about
those portions where there were the journeyings of the Master
into strange lands - or out of the Palestine or Galilean
land.
The entity was among those who heard, yea that saw the
activities when the influences were driven from the man in
the Gadarene land.
There the entity caught hold upon the very foundations of
that as He gave, "Father, God!" Those were new experiences
to the entity, yea to those influences during that
experience. For hate and recompense, and sacrifice to
satisfy the appetites, had been the tenets of the entity.
Yet as Sarai, in the experience the entity set about the
teachings and gatherings of the young as well as the
stranger, to give those tenets and lessons that were gathered
here and there by that visit into that land.
Hence we find the entity holding and the entity losing.
Hold on to that as He, the man, stood for; and as He the
author and finisher of faith may stand for in the experience
of the entity in the present.
Let thy activities then be in the present through thy
writing, through thy counseling with those who are of the
ages not only of unfoldment but when they have reached that
age in the material experiences when that which is behind is
misunderstood, and that which is ahead becomes as great,
great problems. To these ages may the entity appeal in the
greater way and manner.
Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land, when
there were those activities that had caused the Priest to be
banished.
The entity, a native of the land to which the Priest was
banished, returned with the Priest into the Egyptian land;
offering - in body and mind - ALL of self in service for
those principles, those tenets which had been embraced by the
teachings of that Priest.
Hence we find the entity arising to a place of trust in the
manner and means of counseling with those who presented
themselves to those Temples; to those conditions wherein
there was the choice to lay aside the appurtenances and the
things that may be said to weaken the will in the gratifying
of the body rather than in the purifying of the mind for a
growth into spiritual understanding.
There the entity gave great aid and counsel, and many, many
called Ab-Alban blessed. For the entity was among those who
had the ability to change the color, change the activities,
through the vibrations of stone as well as the odors, as were
about the body.
As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then:
Study self, and His promises to thee. Outline thy life in
the ways and manners that have been indicated. Do not be
pulled hither and yon. For a purpose ye have been called
into a land not of thine own nativity. Ye have a place to
fill.
Then let Him guide thee in thy counsel, through thy writing,
through thy activities; whether in music, prose, poetry or
song. All of these may be a part of thy experience.
And let thy meditation ever be, "HERE AM I, O Lord! Send
me!"

BACKGROUND
6/04/38 Background correspondence preceding reading:
The special question in my mind is; What do I do with my life
now? I have been groping for the last few years and
everything I intend to do seems to go wrong or fail in some
way.
Some of my friends advise me to go in business, am I fitted
for that? Other friends tell me I don't belong in this
country and advise me to go back to Cuba or some Spanish
speaking country. How can I do this after living in New York
for twenty years?
