Dear Mr. Cayce -
I want to thank you for the reading which I received a day or
two ago - and also for your note following. I am very
grateful for it and certainly shall follow the suggestions
contained in it and feel sure they will be helpful. I have
written for the Radio-Active Appliance -
I was a little puzzled by a reference - on page two of my
reading [1651-1, Par. 9] - to my taking "QUANTITIES of a
dosage for relaxing the body" and further down on the same
page it says "gradually to diminish taking the sedative
forces" although it will be necessary to continue taking
them -
I was puzzled because I don't take QUANTITIES of any sedative
- In fact I hardly ever take anything of that nature - When I
have one of my headaches - if it is very severe I do
sometimes take aspirin -
I have been interested in nature cure and diet for nearly ten
years - and although I used to take "quantities" of medicine
of all kinds before that I have been very much off it for
some years - So I was quite surprised that they seemed to
think that I was taking something harmful and wondered if you
would have any idea what it meant -
That was the only thing that didn't seem to apply to me - and
I don't know that it is of any great importance - but I
thought I would tell you as there might be some explanation -
With many thanks again
Very sincerely yours [

Dear Mrs. [
1651]:
Thanks for yours of the 6th - certainly hope very soon you
will see results from the suggestions given in your reading -
am sure it is always according to their faith so be it unto
them - faith to give the suggestion a fair trial - as to what
the reading said about the sedative - do not quite understand
but feel it must have been a warning not to resort to
anything of the kind and to keep just as far from such as
possible.
Appreciate your calling our attention to this - and sincerely
hope you will soon be seeing results.
Hope you will let us hear from you every chance - know we are
anxious to be of a service.
With all good wishes - in His name
Sincerely [signed] Edgar Cayce
