TEXT

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions which have been submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [1673]; this we have had before.
3. As we find, there are improvements in the general physical forces of the body from that as indicated here before.
4. However, disturbances continue to arise, and those inclinations for the dropsical condition, - in the swelling and in the excruciating pain produced from same.
5. We find that the body responds to those applications which have been indicated; which as we find should be continued in toto in the manner indicated for the body.
6. Also we would add the consistent eliminations produced by the use of the high enemas. For while there is the inclination to coordinate in the eliminating channels, the weakened condition produced through the eliminating channels of the alimentary canal prevents the entire elimination without some reabsorption of the poisons.
7. At least then every other week there should be used the colon irrigator; using a saline-soda solution for same. Make this body-temperature when used. And it would be well that there be used a last or cleansing water, after the evacuation. And it would be well that a gentle massage of the abdomen be given before the last injection of the water (the last solution containing a tablespoonful of Glyco-Thymoline to each quart of water). Make the massage in the way of forcing, as it were - gently but firmly, the activity of the colon across the abdomen and down the left side, see?
8. It is well also that the rubs with the oils be stimulated somewhat more by a more vigorous application of same along the spinal system. If this is done each evening, we would find still better rest.
9. It is better for the body to keep somewhat quiet, though sufficient activity for the mental reaction to be bettered.
10. Also it is well that there be kept in the diet those things that aid in producing better coordination with assimilating and eliminating influences of the body; that is, the fruit juices of morning, OR the whole wheat cracked or rolled wheat but cooked WELL. But do not take the citrous fruit AND the cereal at the same meal; alternate these, one being taken one morning, the other the next, see? A little cream and sugar may be taken with the cereal if desired, but NOT too much of sugar.
11. At least once each week let there be used the Jerusalem artichoke in the diet, to produce a better reaction from the properties of the adrenaline [Adrenalin - inulin - insulin?] from same upon the activity of the pancreas and the kidneys.
12. These as we find, with the whole of the suggestions followed, will bring the better conditions for this body, [1673].
13. Ready for questions.
14. (Q) Is there an arthritic condition?
    (A) This is an inclination or tendency. It is more in the present, as yet, of a dropsical nature, - which is almost the opposite; though at times has something of the same effect.
Hence the eliminations, the rubs and the SPECIFICS in the diet are indicated.
15. We are through with this reading.
