TEXT

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing condition, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions that may be asked, as I ask them.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [1692].
3. Now as we find, while there are disturbing conditions which prevent the better normal functioning, these as we find need not necessarily become serious - if the precautions are taken that we find would be necessary for the prevention of the disturbing conditions.
4. These have to do with rather a combination of disturbing conditions; those that arise from conditions existent in the pelvic organs as well as in the region of the gall duct area.
5. The effects that these have produced upon the system become acute, or exaggerated at times. But with those applications which have been suggested, in those characters of treatments, and with the precautions as to diet, we should make for bettered conditions.
6. These are conditions as we find them with this body, [1692]:
7. In the blood supply there are indications of the disturbance in the gall duct area, as those conditions which arise in the form of disturbances in the area as well as the lack of proper assimilation or digestion; as well as in the very nature and character of the eliminations through the alimentary canal.
8. These as we find in the present are not true stones, but rather sediment; and the disturbance in the organs of the pelvis, through the nerve reaction, produces a sympathetic reaction that becomes contributory to the GENERAL disturbance through the abdomen as well as that more specific in the ovarian area; as well as in the intestinal tract.
9. Hence as we find, these become then affected in a sympathetic disturbance one with the other.
10. Then:
11. We would keep those suggested treatments, though WE would add these:
12. About an hour each day for three days, we would use the Castor Oil Packs over the gall duct AND caecum area; at least three days. Saturate at least three thicknesses of flannel in Castor Oil, and apply as warm as the body can well stand. Have the Pack sufficiently large to cover the lower portion of the liver area and the whole of the right side to the groin, and extend - of course - over the abdomen to at least the umbilicus center. After putting on the Pack, keep same warm for an hour to an hour and a half to two hours by using an electric pad - each day for three days.
13. Then follow same, after the third day, with taking a QUANTITY of Olive Oil internally, - that is, about three tablespoonsful; and we do not find it necessary for more than the one dose, if the Oil Pack applications are made for the three days first.
14. We find that these followed, as combined with the electrical treatments as well as the eliminations set up, they would prove MOST beneficial.
15. As WE find, the CORRECTIVE measures osteopathically, in the lumbar and sacral area, would be MORE EFFECTIVE for the pelvic disturbance; and these would respond to the reduction of the inflammation that is caused through the caecum area, especially in the portion of the abdominal area about the right ovary. These as we find arise from CONGESTION there, and with the heat and with the correction of IMPULSES - osteopathically given - better influences may be had.
16. When the manipulations are given, it would be well for one or two high enemas or colonics be given also.
17. The diet is well, save do not take HOG meat of ANY nature!
18. Have plenty of fruit juices and vegetables. When meat is taken, let it be fish, fowl or lamb. Never any vegetables OR meats FRIED! All should be broiled, boiled or the like; NEVER fried! The greases become HARD upon the digestive forces.
19. When there is the burning after a meal in the pit of the stomach, use a quarter teaspoonful of Alcaroid in two glasses of water. This will assist in digestion AND eliminations.
20. Do these and as we find we may bring the better forces and PREVENT operative measures for this body.
21. WITHOUT these, the inflammation may cause or produce the conditions where an ABDOMINAL operation WOULD be necessary - but would be rather serious, - in fact, very serious - owing to the blood pressure in this body.
22. Ready for questions.
23. (Q) What is cause of rectal trouble and how may it be corrected?
    (A) This as we find arises from inflammation or prolapsus condition in the descending colon.
The osteopathic manipulations and the use of any rectal suppository would be the better - if the osteopathic treatments are given.
24. (Q) What is condition of appendix?
    (A) As indicated, there is disturbance in this portion of the body - but MORE in the OVARIAN region than in the appendix. This is rather a combination.
But with the Oil and the use of the Packs, this SHOULD be eliminated.
However, DO NOT leave off the other treatments!
25. We are through for the present.

See specific directions [which were enclosed] for preparing Castor Oil Packs.
We would appreciate having the name of the osteopath you choose, so we may put him on our mailing list.
At your convenience we would like to have a history of your case to the time of obtaining the Reading. This is valuable for our files.)
