Dear Mr. Cayce:
I shall be at my home address, ..., Thursday afternoon,
Oct. 6th, between 3:30 and 4:30 E.S.T. which is 2:30 to
3:30 Central Time.
I have a very serious skin irritation which various doctors
have diagnosed as Eczema, Lichen Planus, General Dermatitis,
etc. Whatever it is, I should like to know the cause and
cure of the intense and constant itching, and the extreme
dryness, hardness, and thickening of the skin. Can it be
due to any disturbance of the digestive organs, such as a
diseased liver, pancreas, or spleen; or is it caused by an
unbalanced Glandular system?

Mr. Edgar Cayce,
Virginia Beach, Va.
Dear Mr. Cayce:
I received the Reading and have begun with the treatment you
suggested. Had to order a bushel of Jerusalem artichokes out
from Chicago special, as that variety is unknown here. Will
not receive them until Saturday. I suppose it is all right
to use more than one a week, and that they may be cooked or
boiled as well as eaten raw.
My condition has been very poor the past two weeks, but I
hope to improve now under this new program.
Thank you for you kind suggestions.
Yours truly, [

Dear Mr. [
1702]:
Thanks for your of 13th - of course too much of the Artichoke
can be taken - but twice or three times a week may not be too
much, you will have to judge by the reaction created by same.
Sorry you not feeling so good but hope you will soon respond
to the treatment and be feeling lots better.
Know it is our desire to help if possible and appreciate
hearing from you at all times.
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce
