Mr. Edgar Cayce
Virginia Beach, Va.
Dear Mr. Cayce:-
Please find enclosed applications and check, for Life
Reading, which I hope you may be able to give me real soon.
I am so much better that, thought not CURED I am on the way
to a rapid recovery of all my faculties of mind and body.
I am continuing the nightly use of the appliance and will
so continue until I am instructed, by you, to do otherwise.
My Mother & Sister are mightily interested and I am wondering
whether they come under the head of SINGLE MEMBERS of MY
FAMILY, both being widowed? Can they have Readings under
my membership, as per the enclosed, or does the Association
require that they become full members under one of the three
classifications? Will you please drop me a line to their
status?
I hope your Father has fully recovered and, please, convey
to him my warm regards and well wishes.
Trust that you and Mrs. Cayce are enjoying the best of
health.
Warm personal regards to both of you, and all the others.
Faithfully yours, [

Dear Mr. [
1728]
Replying to yours of the 2nd, I'm certainly glad to know
that your visit to Virginia Beach has been of help. I
certainly trust that you will continue on the improve, and
that we may in some small measure be of assistance. Any time
that we can possibly be of aid, don't hesitate to call on us.
I'm sure a life reading would be most interesting, but would
certainly like for you to be present when that is given.
I'm mighty glad to report that my father is still on the
improve. He is up and about the hospital, and I hope will
soon be his normal self.
Sincerely, [EC:GD]

Dear Mr. [
1728]
We are in receipt of your letter of recent date, enclosing
check and application for a life reading. We are sending
you a card on which you are to give us the necessary
information for obtaining a life reading. I will have to
say, however, that I can't tell you just how soon I will be
able to get this - but I will just as soon as it is possible.
We have about seventy-five applications for life readings
on hand at present, and we average about two of these a
month, so you can see how long it is going to take to catch
up. We had to stop making appointments for those seeking to
join just to obtain a reading, and are now giving our time
to those at the hospital and those who are already enrolled
as members and trying to catch up with those appointments
already on hand. So we should, within the next sixty to
ninety days, be somewhere near to catching up, unless there
are a great many coming into the hospital for immediate
attention. Of course, the hospital has to receive first
consideration.
Sincerely, [EC:GD]

Dear Madam:-
I have your letter of May 26th re my reading.
I have used the Radio Active Appliance faithfully since
its arrival here and would report, as I have previously to
Mr. Cayce, that my bronchial cough has lessened, that is to
say, I don't have the spasms of coughing of such duration as
formerly. Still cough considerably, but am much encouraged
by the results so far obtained. There is one question I
should like to have answered. When I use the appliance just
before retiring, at night (which I have ever since I received
it) it stimulates me and I am unable to go to sleep after
using it. Couldn't I use it the first thing in the morning
upon arising, with the same beneficial results as night?
Trusting the above is what you want to know, I am, with kind
regards to all,
Faithfully yours, [

We have your letter of May 30th and are glad to know that
you have improved.
In regard to your battery treatment, it would be best for
you to have a check reading and ask about it. Write to
Mr. Edgar Cayce and request a check reading.
If we can be of any further service to you, be sure to let
us hear from you.
Sincerely, Sara C. Atkinson, Secretary CAYCE HOSPITAL
