This, as we find, has most to do with the balance as is
ESPECIALLY seen in the lymph circulation, produced most from
an irritation in the vegetative system, or nerve system - so
that the body is susceptible to conditions that come or
affect the body from without, through the sympathetic system,
as well as through those of the distributions in the
eliminating system; so that we have such hindrances as is
manifested in the eliminations, especially as seen in the
skin, or an irritation as of a rash - as between fingers,
feet, or in portions where the lymph or emunctory circulation
is nearest the skin, or from those conditions at times from
the system - as in the passages, or conditions in system
where much of the lymph is necessary to ward off, as in
throat, in nasal cavities - and WILL, eventually, unless
changed or altered, affect the eye, and such conditions.
These conditions may be eliminated most by the correcting of
the activities of the system as relating to diet, as also in
balancing the eliminations as make for coordinating forces in
system, and in using in throat or nasal cavities an
antiseptic fluid as will make for less irritations.
Then, for the corrective forces - we would be mindful that
there are taken, as diet - no shell fish, nor any of those
fats that will irritate, nor too MUCH sugars, nor too MUCH
starches. These may be balanced best, then, with those of
the hydrates, those of the whole foods, those of the green
vegetable, and such.
We would also find that it would be helpful were this taken,
in this proportion, for possibly three to six days - then
REST for three to four days - then take another course of
same: Prepare Enos' Salts, Cream of Tartar and Bicarbonate
of Soda - in equal parts. The whole dose would be a level
teaspoonful, this to be taken - stirred in water - PREFERABLY
every evening, for three to six days. Then rest from three
to four days. See?
Also use the inhalant, weakened into half the quantity with
aqua pura, so that same may be used in a spray, or in an
atomizer, in nasal cavities, and spray throat with same.
THIS, a LITTLE of same night and morning.
We would also find that exercises would be beneficial, or
preferably - WITH the exercise as is taken each day - twice
each week a thorough massage and manipulation,
OSTEOPATHICALLY given. The benefits would be beyond that
thought of in the present.
Ready for questions.
(Q) Are the conditions just described the catarrhal and
hives condition the body refers to?
(A) One is the irritation in the skin, the other those in
the nasal and throat, see? Do as we have given, and we will
find these will be corrected. We are through for the
present.
