EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1736]. This we have had before. In some respects we find conditions considerably improved, though irritations and lack of proper eliminations often cause inconveniences. It would be well for there to be the better or more systematic eliminations from the system, especially with the colonic irrigations - but WITH such, do not give them unless they are followed each time with antiseptic solutions in the intestinal system. The better, as we would find, would be the Glyco, or the Lavoris. Either of these are alkalin in their reaction, and healing to those irritations from the characterization of the conditions in stomach itself, as well as the whole intestinal system.
In the taking of the properties that have been given for the clarification of the blood supply, leave these off if the irrigations are taken. Do not take the irrigations oftener than ten days apart.
In those eliminants that make for active forces with the digestive system, in liver area, these should be kept up.
The manipulations should not be so strenuous in the region of supplying the nutriment, nerve energy and blood supply to the stomach, but more in the lumbar and in the cervical regions; for with an overflow of blood supply irritations and pains ensue through this region of the body.
In the water as taken, keep an alteration between small pinches of the elm in cool water and saffron tea. The saffron tea should be made one ounce to twenty ounces, steeped for three to five minutes. This may be kept, provided it is kept cool - but the elm should be made as it is taken, not letting it stand longer than three to five minutes before taking it.
In the matter of diet, be mindful that foods taken are both nerve and blood building; so we will find those that carry much of glucose - as the pig knuckle, the tripe, the souse, or such - as being well. Well, too, were there occasionally taken the thyroid extract for the general debilitation that ensues. This may be taken in one to three grain tablets, dissolved and taken two or three times each week. Ready for questions.
(Q) What is condition of stomach and duodenum?
(A) This shows some improvement, except when there is the tendency to constipation, when irritation re-arises in the body. The cakes are not so hard, nor are there ulcerations or lacerations as much as has existed.
(Q) Should lamp treatment be continued?
(A) Should be continued occasionally.
(Q) What causes constant pains over and below left lung? What can be done for this?
(A) Just as has been outlined. When we remove the pressures in the colon we will remove the cause, in the descending colon - see? which causes most of the pressure.
Do not have the manipulations so strong through the upper dorsal region, but more in lumbar and in cervical - see?
