This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 26th day of May, 1930, in accordance with request made the by self and those in charge.

Present: Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. [1739], Mr. Livingston, and Dr. Lydic.

Time and Place: 4:20 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Cayce Hospital, Virginia Beach, Va.
(Physical Suggestion)

TEXT

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here - [1739]. This we have had before. In many respects we find the conditions, physically and mentally, are on the improve. The activity, the change of activities - physically and mentally - will aid the stabilization of the system in MORE ways than one. There NEEDS be kept the equalization within the physical forces of the body, through the manipulations at least twice each week, and there should be those VIBRATIONS as have been given as for the coordinating of nerve reflexes in the appliance, as well as that for the superficial circulation in the appliance of the electrical forces, as will aid in the ASSIMILATED conditions for the body. These should be adhered to. Be mindful that the diet is kept in accord with much of that as has been outlined. The natural inclinations in the system are for those of the acid, and these should be kept BELOW the condition as exists most of the time. This may be done with diet, or with the taking into the system of that of alkalins that KEEP the system in that state. Taking of an alkalin ANTISEPTIC would be well, in Glyco-Thymoline, or such. These would be well. Well for the body, for its throat, and for its organs of the soft tissue in head - use a gargle occasionally OF the Glyco, but alternated WITH that of Listerine or its counterparts. These will aid the tissue, and PREVENT the conditions becoming infectious in any nature - (for the body opens his mouth often) and these, with acid conditions, bring for the system those of things that ARE harmful in nervous reactions for the whole body. Needs to bring about EQUALIZATION of disseminating forces within the physical body. Ready for questions.
  2. (Q) Can Radio-Active and Violet Ray treatments be continued at his new residence?
    (A) May be continued anywhere!
  3. (Q) How often?
    (A) The Radio-Active would be well each time, or each day. This is well for ANY body! The violet ray should be at least three times each week.
  4. (Q) How much Glyco internally?
    (A) Five to fifteen drops. This would be taken about three times each week, see?
  5. (Q) How can nervousness be controlled as far as biting fingernails?
    (A) Make self conscious of its activities in the use of extremities, and make for VOLUNTARY actions to BE voluntary, and NOT as involuntary! Keep the hands busy at something else and it will keep them out of the mouth!
  6. (Q) Is the five to fifteen drops of Glyco one dose?
    (A) One dose.
  7. (Q) Should all medicines be continued?
    (A) Be continued for the present.
