11/20/38 [
1743]'s letter to EC:
Dear Mr. Cayce,
Thank you so much for the Reading which arrived in the early
part of last week. After reading it over again and again,
and particularly since Miss [
1472] kindly clarified obscure
points, it seems gloriously good and of great benefit.
Indeed, your wish to be "of service" has fulfilled itself
beautifully, and I feel enriched and blessed because of it.
It contains true spiritual guidance, and from a practical
side it has suggestions of much importance to me in my work.
It fascinates me how the 3 incarnations mentioned so
amazingly fit in with my present purpose. I hope I can
live up to its fine promise.
Thank you again, and I hope someday to greet you in person.
Ever sincerely, [
1743]
11/21/38 Mrs. [
1472]'s letter: "...I spent an entire evening
with [
1743] over his reading. I have never seen clearer
proof of the continuity of life and perpetuation of an
individual thread in its pattern. It explains the boy as he
now is, completely... I am delighted the [...]'s and Mrs.
[...] are so interested in [
1743], for he needs guidance and
help in the unusual path of unselfed service he has chosen.
He feels his reading a great help to him. It has convinced
him that the work he has chosen is right and filled him with
faith and courage in carrying on..."
3/26/40 Letter: "...I would like [
1743] to cast your
horoscope. I consider him the best astrologist I have ever
known. And he puts a spiritual interpretation on
everything..."
11/29/41 "...[
1743] called me from ..., N.J. last night to
say he will do Mrs. [...]'s natal horoscope... I want to
explain a little more fully my concern for [
1743]'s future.
Since his life reading stated he was doing the right thing in
studying chiropractic I want to do all I can to help him
locate in the right place for his practice, now that he has
completed his course and showing remarkable adaptability in
the work thus far done. Also remarkable success, for
every patient he has had has been benefited. Well, N.J. is
certainly not the right place for him to build a practice as
chiropractors are hounded by the doctors in that state, and
the laws there are also very restricting. It's his
conviction also that he should build his professional career,
elsewhere. Since I hope and expect to occupy the house I
have bought at Va. Beach as a home for myself in the next 2
or three years, I would like to have [
1743] down there. My
reasons for this are not altogether selfish. If you will
look at his life and review his questions, you will see that
I was his teacher in Palestine..."
1/15/42 Letter: "...[
1743] says he cannot get a license to
practice chiropractic in Va. without a medical degree. As he
does not have same he sees no hope of locating at the Beach,
which we both deeply regret."
3/02/59 Mrs. [
1472] requested a copy of [
1743]'s reading which
she wished to give to him as a birthday present, since he had
lost the original.
