11/25/38 EC's letter to [
1745]:
Dear Mr. [
1745]:
Thanks for yours of 21st - the time as given in reading may
possibly be P.M. instead of A.M. as was transcribed. Will
when we have another reading check on this - but impossible
to tell anything about that now - Miss Davis has it in notes
as given in reading.
Feel sure you will get results with the Physical Reading -
especially as the Dr. agrees with the findings - thanks for
the Dr.'s address.
Mrs. [
1100] is the Chairman of the Representatives - wish you
would tell her you wish to be active there, and she will send
you some data on the subject - that is fine - ever since have
known Mrs. [
1100] have been anxious to know you, as have
heard her speak of you, but now wish to more than ever, and
hope to have that pleasure some of these days.
About a Book on re-incarnation, am afraid I am a poor one to
ask about such - expect Mrs. [
1100] could do that better than
I - my whole study on such subjects Mr. [
1745] is the BIBLE
and if don't find it there - well feel we had best leave it
off. But does one read in first chapters of John where Jesus
says "before Abraham was I am". He saw my day and was glad -
then we know he was called the prince of peace - as was
Milkezdeck [Melchizedek] it is easy to see they were the same
- then what is said of M. birth in Hebrews we see further it
is very definite. Then when Jesus speaks to the Disciples as
he comes down from Mt of Transfiguration and tells them that
John the Baptist was Elias that was to come - that too is
definite. Then in Joshua they speak of the people present
being same as ones before the flood - why it becomes a fact -
especially if ones experiences in meeting people answers the
same way.
That may be just imagination - but feel the entire book is
written as if the people of the day of Jesus accepted it as a
fact - and that He verified it.
If you read these portions - and wish to ask questions - be
glad to give you my version thanking you again.
Sincerely [signed] Edgar Cayce
2/14/39 Sister [
1100]'s letter to EC:
Dear Mr. Cayce:-
Just a hurried note, as my brother asked me to write you in
regard to getting in a question in his son's reading
[6171-2], checking on his (my brother's) birth hour. My
Mother is so positive that he was born in the afternoon -
Personally, I feel that she is mistaken, but of course,
cannot tell her that. Where there were so many children, I
do not see how one could possibly remember the time.
Hope this reaches you in time.
Am continuing to improve, altho temperature flares up
occasionally - Hope you and all there are well.
Love and best wishes [
1100]
2/17/39 A special reading was given to answer this question

1745]'s birth. See

correspondence in re losing job, finding employment, etc.
11/06/42 Sister's letter: "[
1745] has remarried - a widow
with 3 children. His 3 boys are all in the service. I
understand she is a lovely person. She certainly got a
wonderful man for a husband!"
